There can't be an "Endgame" right now, since we don't have all mechanics in the game yet, that is on the Gamedesigns Roadmap. For PVE we will get for sure "Endgame" Stuff, like Big Boss Monster, Labyrinths, Asteroids. Also the Abomination/Angel/Lich Transformation will be Endcontent. Getting the alternative abilities (aka Ability Leveling) will bring you in very dangerous situations, since you will need to step to areas as a pure PVE player, where PVP is all over the area activated. And for PVP Player, well, the "Endcontent" will be to maintain your town, to secure your town (aka Sieges) to fight for ressources... A sandbox game never has Endgame Content like a Theme-Park Game. You will need set your own endgame goals. That can be to be the biggest guild who is ruling a planet, to be the best Trader in game, to be the best Crafter, best Farmer, best whatever... Once the game developement will be finished for release, there will be (hopefully) enough possibilities to keep us playing however we want to play.

Does iron has value??? of course!!! maybe even more then gold in some sence. u can craft good weapon out of it. gold is just more rare. its a fake reality where 1 silver cost 100 copper and 1 gold cost 100 silver. reality is diffrent. in relity you can print money of of everything but gold is just a material with low % presence in a world and which cannot be faked. if usd would be easy to fake then it would cost as toilet paper. so city of gold technically can be rich yes, like arabic emirates are with a oil but you can buy of all gold of that city with your silver coins as they are as strong cos u have a strong economy. you buy off all gold and then print your money out of this gold and implement your own golden standart. gold cant be the only metal to produce coins technicaly we could make money out if animal skin by drawing your logo on it. but do you realy want to pay for city upkeep with skin? no its not fair cos skin cost nothing. but if we, say, make governors pay for city upkee with coins made out of pesiouse metals (like 100 sunsteel coins for 59 level of city) this way we implement new rare currency in the world. the only thing i think should be fixed is the printing and paying straight away. it should not be the case. once money are printed they cannot be used as a money to day by day expensis. money must be put throught economical mambraine and only then when they came back be used to pay your expensis. to achive that you gotta use other city money to pay your bills. to get these money you gotta trade with some other city to and make them want your coins. once they got your coins then you have to sell them something for your coins which they have to get them back to you, and only then your own money have value for you. this is the way of how money going through ecenomic and get value. But you cant just print millions and millions of money and pay them all your bills. if it would work then every idiot could just to declair his houe a country and start to print hiw own money and pay his bills with them. well its still possible but only if your money are needed like a bitcoins for instance. so they must be put through this cicle first. that how game economy will work perfectly.

  I have already realized that they already doing holy trinity my way, I just didn't know they do. I wasn't able to explain it better due my poor English. I've made a video on this in a creative corner. Mage archer warrior is category not party role. Anyway, nevermind. Thank u for support.

  @vedran625 I never played Atlas, so have no comment. It's interesting that from 6 posts 2 have included the word grind, and that was one of the things that was advertised as not part of the game due to no leveling, but there it is.

  I like both ideas and if I'm not hallucinating, I think I'm recalling at least town guards are already planned. I'm entirely unsure on the relation between creatures though and more specifically, AI in general. I wonder how taxing AI is for SpatialOS, since I guess that is one of the determining factors there.

  when i played prealpha i had that bad sence when character is always in a fighting mode. i always wanted to switch it off. at this test it not bother me but i dont mind war mode. lets make it like in UO. make more sence right? and it maybe done with certain cool down. so u switched to war and you cannot attack like a 3-4 seconds so everyone understood that guy who approaching to you with angry face not gonna give u a flowers.

  man, too many horses, too many. i always run on horse in wilderness and i dont need it cos in our city chest is full of them and they dont die they stay with you forever and you want even more horses??? no. we gotta make them less and we also need to make them die and be out in a world instead of magicaly hide in your backpack. we need to make stables in cities. we need to make them hungry and tired. we need to make them level up. we need to make them obey commands, we need to sell them in stables, we need money to upkeep them, there many thing that we need for them but obvously we do not need to overcrowd world with them. in my personal view we need to have one horse in a world at the time. ONLY ONE. once its been tamed another appeared. make you b***ches upretiate fast travel. (no offence just an expresion :))) cos now i start to see post when people complain that horse is to slow. REALY!!!!!!?????????? ! TO SLOW??????????? how about small cart for transporting stones andd logs???? HAVE U EVER USED IT????? noooo, you never used it coss you always use one with horse. but why do you think it existing? mabe we will face a time when we stay without so many horses??? maybe we should face it cos we start to nag nag and nag??? ))) i wish we face those times. i wish we all will be caring logs by small carts on our feet and only a chosen one will have their horses and spit on a rest of you, slaves. LOL i wish there will be a time when bunch of poor half naked bums will attack passing nobleman on horse and the ultimate desire of them will be at least to kill his horse, not to take his gold. cos thats how jalouse they are. LOL)) i wish there will be a time when public auction for horses will be started in central city and whole MYR will gather in that city and do their bets and fight for every horse and every buyer will be on heaven from happyness cos now he is a owner of horse, now he is fast travel elite. (in such case maybe make horses be ressurected if dead. not all but maybe by passing a curtain level of horse or/and curtain level of mage who intend to ressurect or/and cost a lots of magical reagents). i wish there will be time when you gotta put your horse for rest and care in a stable of a city you just arrived and take another horse which you already prapered in advance and continue your travel on a horse full of energy. i wish ou would have to have horse in every city and pay for it if you wanna often travel. i really afraid what you guys tell me on all of it, i think you will throw excriments on me cos im ruining your fairytale where everything easy and fast and you dont have to do nothing. im sorry for that.

  After a week of experience and impressions, i feel to leave here some suggestions to improve gameplay and fix some problem: ROAD SYSTEM Since game seems really slow, roads allow to move a bit faster and lower our stress during infinite travels But i think roads could works even differently and better with some improve. All roads in world are divided in segments, each segment connect 2 villages or town (at their end point a wooden sign will show the road segment. The two cities connected can improve that road segment increasing the road rank But how it work? A city send a request to the other one to start the improvement project, if it accept both cities have to load stones into the wood signs (the sum is equally divided indipendently by the rank of towns), so if 40 stones needed, each city have to place 20 stones. When placed, road rank up becoming a lastricated road (or marbled road name is just an example). This road have a travel speed increased by 100% (so the double respect the normal road). Road need maintenance, this maintenance is the half of the build cost (in this case 20 stones), whoever can help to upkeep road, maintenance is weekly (not daily), if requirement is not satisfied, road rank down to normal one. BUT WHY? because a faster road attract more travelers, improve the commerce and force involuntarly people to move there instead other roads. But how much cost a rank up of the road? it is directly proportioned to the distance (about 1-2 stone per tile, so very long road will cost really high (even 70-80 stones) and upkeep even is high but travels will be greatly improved. AUTO TRADE Each city at a certain rank (not at begin), can release a carovan (a wagon) that will go sell or buy something decided by governor into his tradepost in another city. Carovan will start from the governor tradepost and move only on roads until the tradepost of destination, do the deal and come back. why this? no time waste, faster grow, time safer. Risks? carovan can be raided during travel, because player killers can patrol choke points and raid carovan stealing all. Well this could happen even if u decide to move carovan on your own with a personal trade, but in this case you can choose to travel out of road avoiding pirates. At high ranks Cities will unlock Militians which will guard town by raiders, but even a governor can decide to link militians at guard of carovans, but if this will give more safety to the carovan, reduce the defence of the city itself (hard to decide, raider could notice militians going out of town and raid city...beware governors lol. STONE CITIES Since i have a stone city and i love it, Both stone and fertile grounds got a really bad appeal on players. Stone cities simply have no advantage, it produce a reasource all players can get everywhere, sure more than others but it is not enough. I suggest Stone cities have a quarry where citizen can dig Boulders, these boulders can be disgregate into 8-10 stones or can be used to build advanced building in highest rank in cities (an end game resource for biggest cities) Meantime i wish Fertile grounds can produce more crops than others, not in quantity but even in variety (those crops have a better effect on city upkeep or another end game resource)

  ok but maybe make it 10 players content then. not one solo guy with unbreakable stone hammer killing all undeads stiders and gouls. maybe make it break very fast. but i ruther go the way i originally described

  @HoldOut this bit specifically kinda broke me in my head. like... just change one of the things to the element and it's great. And this is the first ive heard of eventually choosing which enchant you want.

  @Ostaff This is really helpful and cool! I was more talking about when actually placing stuff. Like I can go into "city planning view" or something and actually place stuff in game not just map out on the side and try and then transfer it over like the game "Clash of Clans" although this is really cool and I love it! I just meant for maybe down the line add this as a full part of the game you know.

  all res they simply can be classified by affort needed in two categories - Search and Yield. So Vein always in one place, crop is is always in one place. Not like an animals (supposadly) which are also in one place. And yeild is also almost the same as you get ore more often but in less numbers and crop one 2 days but in large amounts. I dont see any diffrence. Its not like a real life. its much more simple in game. and it cannot be significant diffirence by design (due balance). The only difference i see that u can actually deside how many plots you choose for farms. So the question is very simple - why city#1 have only 1 type resorses stucked to its city - CROP. And city #2 has both crop and iron and tin at the same time. If we are going to talk about feir deal, we must EITHER give crop city also one ore vain, OR take away crop growing posibilities from city#2. Also crop city has only crop but ore city has two ores veriety. SO THIS IS NOT FAIR.
