Well it is kinda gender locked, you can only chose male or female.

I hate it when games do gender/class lock, but I don't think there is something like that in Fractured since there are no classes to begin with lol.

Developers do that to save cash. There's no other reason. Ok the other reason is to gender and race lock a new class so that people buy new cosmetics from the store.
