I've always preferred B2P over F2P, since F2P almost always end up with some degree of "pay to win"

I really likes the thought. It's kind of like the backgrounds in the old RPG Arcanum from Sierra. Nothing game-breaking, but added a lot of flavor.

I was really happy to read the post about the Lich option for humans. Even though I'm probably gonna go beast, I had been feeling that humans were getting left behind in not having a potential change like Angel or Abomination. And I like the fact that, in keeping with humanity's base "neutrality", it doesn't require a change of alignment.

Glad I read this, because I was wondering how to set mine.

@Tuoni I'd love to see a skill/spell combo system like in the Divinity: Original Sin series. Example: someone hits ask enemy with a water-based ability, then they (or another character) hits with lightning. Extra zap! Or someone breaks an oil flask in an area, then drops a torch, for a big area flame.

I was just wondering if I'm the only one who's considering playing a (secondary character) demon just to shoot for the Angelic transformation.

I am. It's kind of adding to my anticipation for the final product.
