May 2020 Playtest Review
-
Hi everyone,
our second open playtest has ended on June 3, and finally here comes the review of what we learnt from it!
Also, we have released a survey on the May Open Playtest. It’s an obvious thing to say, but your feedback is really important for us, so please give the survey a go – it’s a very short one, and completing it awards 1,000 Foundation Points!
Enjoy Fractured!

@Prometheus When trying to submit an answer I'm getting this weird error even though all the fields are filled and questions answered.

The open play test is why I am involved in the game. An old friend of mine told me about Fractured; then they told me about the open play test. I was bored and I hadn't hung out with my friend in years so I figured why not. So what if it is still in alpha and going to crash a ton and probably look terrible and, and, and...
It didn't take me long to buy the Adept pack and by the time the test was over I had upgraded to the Legend pack (the very most my poor pockets could squeeze out) Just how much do I like Fractured... Way back when I preordered Everquest 2 and have been a die hard fan ever since but Fractured, well, lets just say "EverWhat?" Coming from me that is the highest compliment Fractured can get.
I am honored to be part of this game during the testing phase.

A bunch of things learned... thats quite good, makes you able to fix this early on
Go ahead, Fractured is already a Gem, i just need to grow a little bit more and then it needs to get polished. You are on a very good path.

I found myself being very critical of the game because I truly enjoyed the test last month. It sounds weird, but true, there is just a lot of room for improvement in order to compete in the MMO market. I am really hoping the game launches and gets all the success it deserves.

As soon as I could try it, I was left with the enormous desire to play it because my computer is low-income. I would like them to work a little on optimizing consumption to be able to play it.
Cordially greetings

Cordially greetingsWere you experiencing a stutter every 5-10 seconds?

Since it is Alpha, I'm not sure if it is considered a bug or not, but I watched a video where a Mage attacked a guy inside his house. It should be a safety zone, right?
-
At least at the moment, only towns and player towns are safety zones. Which means: Any house that has been standing in the previous alpha wasn't a safezone. In the next Alpha, there will be player cities, they will protect you.

@Freas Ty! Btw, that's the video I mentoned.

While I opted for more Design Spotlights in the survey, it's a difficult one to balance. Highest priority would always have to be on game development and it's all too easy to get lost on 'talking' about the game, so maybe just a 'bit more', but not much?
