What music do people listen to when gaming

I usually listen anime soundtracks/openings, or plain rock

Depends on my mood... sometimes nothing, sometimes Country, sometimes Classical, and yes I'll even toss in a some Rap or Metal if I'm in the mood. I pretty much listen to everything from Mozart to Nine Inch Nails and beyond.

I keep all the music I like in one giant playlist, set the volume just low enough that it doesn't obscure in-game sounds, then just shuffle play on a loop.
I should warn you all before listening to that playlist that my taste in music is all over the place. The part of your brain that identifies music based on genre will get whiplash listening to that. Think twice before inflicting that on yourself.

Depends on the game, but anything from hard rock if I'm battling it out to 90s if I'm just chilling.

I usually just have Pandora decide lol. Have a mixed radio station that I've had for years, added all types of music to, from metal to old country.

I usually listen to music if I am moody, so if I do it while gaming, it would be something like perfect pussy.

I listen to the ingame music. It's made especially for the game and adapts to what's going on around you.

Sometimes i like to listen to my favorite soundtracks of other games that match the genre.

all the games I like are based on fantasy, so to increase immersion, I listen to songs that bring me back to this world. For example
this playlist is special for macabre DGs
and, finally, a lot of folk metal.

Mostly rock, sometimes guides in the background ( guides for league of legends champions etc)

depends on the game. I rarely play music while gaming. ingame added music (like in GTA V) sometimes... I dont listen cuz i mostly coop with my buddy and then it is disturbing in comms.
