Hello everyone!
Did you pledge governor or above? If so, you now have the option to claim a spot on the world map for the upcoming alpha test. Just make sure you're logged in and then select an empty city plot on the world map to claim it.
Do you have access to the next test but don't have governor access or above? Do not fret, you can still select an existing town on the map to join for the next test. In fact, 5 players are required to claim a small city plot and 15 players to claim a large city plot. I'm sure plenty of governors are willing to take you in.

If I claim a city plot, do I get to keep it until Fractured's release?
No, all claims will be reset after A2T3 and every other test phase.
I want to build a city on Arboreus or Tartaros, not Syndesia. Will I lose my chances to claim a plot on a different planet if I claim one on Syndesia now?
Not at all. As mentioned above, everything will be reset after A2T3. Also, you won't lose your one-time Governor Kickstarter reward if you claim a plot now. After every reset you'll be given the option to claim a city again until launch.

This is awesome. Being done better than a previous game that won't be mentioned tried to do lol. It has caused some excitement amongst the peers.

If your guild or community lacks the governor pledge pack, will you still be able to claim a city plot InGame, when the test is live? Or are you just allowed to join other cities, that have been claimed already?

I'm assuming you'd be able to claim one. The next test is aimed to test out building cities and communities after all.
Here's to hoping that there would still be available city plots though! but I don't think that all of them will be taken anyway considering the sheer amount of it. I'm more worried about the housing within those plots quite frankly.
Not having a governor pack just puts your guild in a position where you can't really take the strategic locations; but in a sense, it feels a lot more organic to build one without the pack cause it has that 'bunch of rando's' coming together to build up a city, sure a guild is building it but it feels more organic that way than a pre-planned city.

That's kind of a very, very unfair comparison, given that both attempts are drastically different. Not that I'd want to 'defend' the development that went wrong, but that's somewhat comparing apples and oranges.

How do I join in a city? I have adept pack, If I join I can play in the next test right?
