Pre-alpha invites!
-
@benseine they can, but if they do, why not allowing the players to say they in?
-
Probably to secure information and block some spoil things, good thing to do in this early stage of dev
-
@grofire Also, to save them from being pestered. In a vacuum, any source is likely to get a flooded in-box of questions that they can't answer.
-
It is a bit funny to see you all jittering around, helps to be more jittered
-
I'm hoping for a PM in discord (if the very fact that invites have started has to be a secret) or general discord message that first wave of invites is starting (if it can be known that invites have started).
Just in case if I don't go to check my e-mail for a day or two.

I'd be kinda shocked if they didn't want someone as active as you involved really. Seems like you are everywhere there's a discussion about anything. xD
Wish I could too of course, but you know. Can't all be lucky. Even if I've got experience in QA stuff n' things.
-
@benseine They have common sense and they sure will do it. Anyway from what i read on last post in weekly pills we are at least 2 weeks away from Pre Alpha so there is no reason to press F5 from now
-
It's hard to hide the start of the pre-alpha when everyone can see the number of threads and posts in the closed Pre-alpha section.
-
@specter not if the Pre-alpha topic is fake and real discussions are in hidden one! Conspiracy theory everywhere!
-
What a pity that we have less time to test Pre-alpha
-
@specter Well that's all kinds of amusing. Guessing there's no easy way (or rather pointless I suppose given it's not a long-term category) to hide it from view?
-
@genobee I don't believe there is, but it's not really a problem anyway. Outsiders can't see what's being said inside nor does the forum show who has access.
-
@genobee welp, I don't know who it is, but there's been a post in the pre-alpha forum, and a reply, from the look of it. Either we have a player, or the devs are talking to make sure it works XD
-
@specter don't the messages show up in the profile? And I guess to get access to the PA threads you get a forum user group assigned, isn't that visible on the profile?
-
@evolgrinz Nope, they don't. If there's a forum group for alpha testers, we can probably hide it.
@TheRippyOne A thread with 2 replies, what could it be.
-
@Specter you just confirmed that you are in pre-alpha. That's a breech of NDA.
-
@gothix That depends on if the studio has had staff sign an NDA. There might be other rules involved for them based on contract...
-
we can be pretty sure that the devs as well as specter are in the pre alpha
-
@specter i hope it won't get me into too much troubles but I have to post the TRUTH!
