With regard to the alpha 1 map... it won't be about where to live to me, so much as seeing what I can break. Because, well, that way it won't (hopefully) be broken later.
I say that with hopefully in there like that, because all too often there's a list of bugs that are long, and some things are left undone based on priority for a long time. For example, one game I was able to extend fuel use in cooking by turning the fuel on only to start the recipe (then turning it off) and cycling for each cooking like that. Obviously not intended, but they had bigger problems. So cooking without heat was a thing.

I guess I'll be always on the run. No place to settle down.

I picture the town I hope to run being in an accessible but defensive place, but other than that, I'm cool with just about anywhere! At least for now.

@mazikar well, the alpha is located on a world that, every eclipse, is over run by demons, so, you're going to need a fair amount of resources to build a suitable defense, to stay safe.

I'll live out in the woods as a mystical angel, in a small shack with a rocking chair. You can come find me for mindbending riddles and life lessons.

Initially the plan is to set up in a guild town in Tartaros with access to two or three different kind of workshops.
Plan is to do a mix of solo or small-group PvE and crafting to fill in the time between getting involved in group PvP with my guild.
If Tartaros turns out to be too dangerous for that, may wind up moving to Syndesia looking for a similar setup. But I expect that I'll learn quickly enough after dying a few times about how to die less often.

Cant wait to see the other worlds/places. So I would want to see the other maps before i make a big decision like that.
