What is the main reason why you want to play Fractured?
-
What feature appeals to you the most. Why this game and not another MMO? Please list your top 5 reasons...
-
@Luckycharms I mean I wanted to go in deep on my #1 but if you want top, here you go:
- Complex social gameplay: towns, guilds and so much more fun stuff
- I think endgame PvM should be fun given the MOBAesk mechanics
- PvP, this kinda ties in #1 because how many PvP opportunities arise from the different social elements and mechanics
- Just the room to min/max your characters with all the racial specifics and transformations, different stats, skill trees and the variety of abilities
- The community. So many great people all in one plays waiting for this one single game. I just love this community. Even though we are small (which is temporary, believe you me), it's the quality that matters.
-
The design of this game allows me to play an overall babby PVE character but still experiment with PVP whenever I feel like it.
-
- 3 Planets, 3 Playstyles
- Knowledgesystem and horizontal Progression
- Towns & Politics
- Grown-up Community
- The Passion of @Prometheus, @Uriel and @Sunti
-
Basically I expect it to be a less demanding Albion.
-
- Three planets and three different playstyles is the most interesting feature imo. Offering equal content for PvE and PvP and PvX players is something what is hard to implement in the same game.
- Sandbox and player-driven economy.
- ???
- Asteroids.
- Open world PvP action, either bounty hunting criminals or playing as one, both ways sounds interesting.
??? This is a place holder for lifeskills and professions. I hope gathering, crafting and farming will be implemented well, but I have to say that at the moment I am a little bit skeptical and vigilant.
-
- GvG PvP, fight for territory control and resources, engaging politics and group conflicts, social mechanics
- sandbox driven economy
- good player community (so far)
- developers pasion and engagement / love for the game world
- beautiful game world design pulling you in, together with complexity of game play mechanics
Sorry, its hard to fit all in to only 5 points.

I would add GvGs to my list as well. It goes atm on place 6. and if implement well it will be much higher on my list.
-
- 3 different playstyles
- Race specific progressions (Demon -> Angel, Human -> Lich, Beastmen -> Abomination)
- Housing and cities + all politics that that involves
- The worlds (universe?) size and how big it is going to be, joined in a single shard for everyone.
- Knowledge system and horizontal progression

This is so close to mine that I can't think what I'd take out to add 'NO P2W', but w/o that piece I probably wouldn't have bought in. So you get my top 6, not necessarily in this order

I game that lets me play the way I want. I backed this because it gives me options.

Absolutely. This.

Old Ultima Online vibes
-
Options. My favorite MMORPG that I continuously go back to is Mabinogi. I don't like being held to a certain class or playstyle - I like to be able to change and do what I want based on what I feel.
-
I am a sucker for isometric MMOs, and this one looks like the best option by a long shot.
-
- Full Loot PVP! - on Tartaros at least xD
- Guild/land ownership features- Guild cities and large scale group pvp to come! Houses! Sieges!
- Not pay 2 win.
- Alignment system- people can choose to play the way they want and it actually opens different options of gameplay for them. Not limiting and yet not so free that choices don't matter at all!
- Honestly out of all current and upcoming MMOs that are announced/ongoing, Fractured seems like the best option so far! Hopefully the developers continue with their vision and don't make the mistake that others made of trying to please random tourists who don't research the features of the game.
-
- Lore and the concept that race and alignment had a huge impact on the game.
- A World that interacts and responds to players actions.
- D&D aspect in many things.
- Solo mode for PVE and crafts that do not force me to the PVP or Guild system.
- Support a small team of dedicated devs to make real the most interesting project on the market at the moment.
P.D.: Sorry if my writing is wrong, my language is Spanish.
-
Cause its different and interesting. It is not P2W. It plans to offer lots of different types of play styles and things to keep me interested (ie. non-combat related systemss that hopefully will be fulfilling and complex enough to keep me entertained).
and of course... have you seen their PETS??!!! OH MY GAWD!!!! Fiery Pandas to me! Oh, and Cats, and Foxes!! Sooo cute!! can't help but to try to pet them all
