@Lohen both could work, let's see if we manage to gather a few more people for a lunch. PM me on Discord
@Jimbolini I think Germany is pretty safe
@Kralith thank you! we'll also be there with a proper stand next year for sure

@Saghir @Tuoni @Trixstir the /play page was not taking into account "limited" keys indeed. It's been fixed yesterday, sorry for making you wait to play Alpha 2!
@Selicity we have Windows Defender on one of our machines - Microsoft Security Essentials actually, but that's the same thing - and never had any issue. The website doesn't contain any popop / advertisement. We also don't use any cookie besides the usual ones you can find on any website.
Can't your friend make a quick screenshot of the error message and see what the culprit is? Thank you for reporting the problem by the way!

i do not understand, the alfa 1 map probably going to be changed after the pre alfa test, so how its number 1 ????? it should be little closer to the alfa 1 test... near December.
It's not. For Alpha 1, we're building one of the continents of Syndesia - the smallest one. Later on, we're going to release the others
Yes, it's supposed to, definitely a bug Thank you for reporting it!
Hi @Shaman-Phoenix, by intuition I guess the bug is related to the whitespace in your username  We'll have a look at it and fix it ASAP, hopefully tomorrow already. Sorry for the inconvenience!

As a demon cook will I be able to deep fry my human and beast kills ?
Ahah that's not planned really, it would be a little too much You'll be able to do enough evil deeds already!
Hi @r0lldice123, we experienced some connectivity issues on Wednesday. Can you login fine now?
Ah, that was easier than expected - usernames with whitespace are no longer allowed, but yours wasn't updated when we changed that. We just did, everything should work now - let us know
@Mrchipps said in Creative Biome Discussion:
As soon as I saw that they had ideas on biomes. It dawned on me that they definitely need to make sure these biomes are diverse and have different feels and layouts to them. I wonder if there is any idea on mixed or cross biomes? Either 70/30 or a small section of one biome within another biome.
We could have a plains that has a small section in the middle with a grassland section or a small marsh within a forest. It I think depends on how large the biomes are and how much physical game world they will take up if this will be possible.
Quoting from the update:
Moreover, there can be visible differences even within the same biome. Hereβs an example of a Birch Forest and an Oak Forest sub-biome within a Grassland biome:
So yes, things already work that way! You can have a grassland biome that is about 1 km2 in size, and inside of it have one or more forests, of different types. What is not possible is to have a swamp as part of a grassland (which would make it different from a swamp part of a dry plain, for instance), because a swamp is a main biome. However, we could easily design a portion of map to have a small swamp biome surrounded by grasslands. Everything is possible!
@meangroundhog said in Cities:
Will there be a limit to how much you can build or will it be so that there is a limited area?
This to maybe stop the world from becoming one big city
There are area limits, both for cities and for other kinds of privately owned buildings - such as farms. The world definitely won't turn into "one big city" or a random mass of houses!
@benseine Let's make sieges a thing
They'll be a thing! Spotlights comiiing!
Fixed in version a.2.1.0d.

Alright, so I know in a number of the dev blogs have talked about resources and about crafting the knowlwdge tomes for memorized abilities, but I have yet to see crafting mentioned more than just in passing.
Does crafting work like other MMOs and RPGs where you are restricted to a set number of crafting skills or profession?
Can every player craft every item and use every type of resource or do you have to rely on other players and NPCs for certain items?
Will dungeons and such *always *provide items better than what can be crafted? If so how do pure PvP players stay on an equal playing field with those PVE players?
Does the allignment system have anything to do with who can trade with who in terms of resources or items? Will Demon players have a harder time getting new skills because of this?
Hi @rainstorm26, a few quick answers:
@MrTimo said in New Shaders For Fractured:
I think Fractured needs some new shaders or something. Everything still looks flat and blends in. Its all neutral grays kinda like the how the concept art is. Not a whole lot of contrast and I think the characters and items get lost in all the grays, browns, and greens. Nothing really pops. Idk. What are your opinions on this?
Check out my edit of it. https://imgur.com/a/txBvMyP
Hi @MrTimo, your edited screenshot looks good indeed (although over-saturated), but I assume you're not playing yet, right? Because we've made changes to lighting and post-processing too, so colors are already more vivid than they used to be at the time the screenshot you posted was taken!
@darian said in Crafting and Gear:
How important will RNG be in crafting? Will knowledge and materials guarantee success? Or will you also need to be lucky?
Will there be any outcome difference between an average skill craftsmen and a high skill craftsmen creating the exact same item? (small stats increments maybe)
@r0lldice123 is it still happening after today's patch?
