Tier 3 and 4 is it real?
-
Hi just wanted to ask a question about tiers.
Ive tried to make weapon dmg tier 4 and got all circles maxed out but still it just made tier 3 and also with int and str stat ive did 3/4 circles but still got only tier 2 exactly the same when theres only half of circles filled up is it a bug?

They said in an earlier post that Tier 3 and 4 enchantments have not as yet been implemented.

Its possible to hit the Tier 3 level, it is not currently possible to hit a Tier 4... if they even will have them.. It takes a min of 10 in all aspects to have a Tier 3... in order to have a tier 4 it would (if according to the same algorithim as the others) take either a 15 or a 20 in all aspects which we just are not able to achieve with the current reagents.
After much research, I have found that there are only a very few Tier 3 enchantments currently in the game which deal with critical chance and Damage Bonuses (7 enchantment matches), however we do get VERY CLOSE for the main attribute enchantments!!! We are able to get 3 out of 4 aspects to reach 10 or higher; however, that 4th aspect only goes as high as 9, and usually it maxes at only 7.

@Laveilath - excellent question! Glad to see this posted where others can find out the answer. Thanks to @GamerSeuss @Ostaff for sharing their information where it can help everyone.

@Laveilath @GamerSeuss @Ostaff @PeachMcD Tier 4 doesn't exist
- At least 2/10 on all aspects: Tier 1
- At least 5/10 on all aspects: Tier 2
- 10/10 on all aspects: Tier 3
(aspect = circle)

With gear being so easily lost or broken will players even invest the kind of time needed to make this level of stuff? I'm sure some will just to say they can or wear it around town but to actually use.

@Farlander
Using this kind of gear in most scenarios seems like a waste, but they have their purposes. For example, in high-end PvE (imagine world bosses) and PvP (imagine sieges) people will want to come in the best thing they can afford.

@Farlander
A few of the enchants take really nothing to make. few enchants just taking picking a few flowers- surly everyone will have a stockpile of flowers .
-
@maze Hopefully it remains that easy but how many posts have you seen where people have been complaining that the game needs to be more difficult lol.
-
@Farlander
That's why a few of the guys who are very intrested in enchanting have been brain storming none stop on what would make the system more interesting.One of the things we like the most is that each item will have boost and/or negative effects.
That would make it more likely for people to either find regents to mid/max or find the easiest to just get the main enchant.

@maze Hsaving negative effects to counteract the positive also keeps the vertical growth idea in check so it is more horizontal. If gear and knowledge add to stats to a cap that is much higher than the starting base set there is definitely vertical growth. But then I'm not convinced that a no growth vertical system is going to be fun. Most players like to see their characters advance.
