      Yeah, I have made lots of guesses as well, but the reason I asked for an answer from the Developers was because I wasn't satisfied with my guess, or anyone else. So I await an answer from them.

      Frankly because I greatly dislike discord, hardly ever use it, didn't even know that they were on there to answer things and didn't think I'd get attacked by pissants for asking the Devs a question here on the forums.

    • People who buy a founders pack today get more than yesterday

      In a post by @Prometheus about it being the last week for pledges.

      Despite this being about "pledges" i'm sure most people would still see it that buying a "founders pack" is still pledging to support a game in development regardless of how you word it.

      Current pledge packs will be phased out and three founder packs will be added. The cost of access will be the same as current non-sale prices (€25 for Beta 2, €50 for Beta 1, €90 for Alpha 2), but the new packs will be less value-oriented (less Gold, VIP time, etc)

      Original pledges should never change (this is just fair for those who supported the cause)
      If you decrease the value of your current pledges over time, you should give ample warning (you did that)
      If you increase the value of your current pledges over time, you should provide the difference to previous supporters to honor their support (you havn't done this)

      It might seem trivial, the difference in gold is never really that much after all. But it is things like this that will ultimately shape your company and what you will be remembered for.

      Stop making excuses, when the studio is simply bad at keeping people up to date on events that people have already payed for.

      If you are going to go on holiday, then you need to make sure such events are covered by another staff member or you complete it before hand.
      You should also have provided a statement saying you were going on leave so backers knew not to expect updates.

      This is downright unprofessional and dynamite is certainly not deserving of its fanatics when you act like this

      Suggestions

      In future have some posts lined up every few weeks with mini bits of content, or competitions whatever to keep the forum from feeling your lack of presence during holidays

      I get what your saying and sure maybe i was over the top, but that was also the point.

      If you ask nicely for something that someone does not have but they promised you, then they will most likely ignore you, say they don't have it, or possibly provide you with news of when they will have it.
      If however they do not provide news of something they promised you, and you have been asking nicely. Then you need to stop asking nicely.
      The person or party who promised to provide you something is only going to give that information/promised thing to you when it's finished/worth doing.

      Now @Znirf is now aware that he needs to communicate more & not just rely on discord.
      It certainly isnt hard or time consuming to leave a 10-20 word message saying something like "hey guys, still working on port. Were almost done, but Alpha2 will be delayed, stay tuned)
      Could have also added the fact he was going on holiday so we would know when to expect another update, or organise someone else to do it instead.
      But the fact that nothing happened is why i said it was unprofessional, because that is a basic thing anyone with basic training would know.

      But anyway, now they know.

    • Give us Attribute Resets please

      I was speaking with @Spectre in game earlier today about changing/Resetting Attributes as i thought such a thing would be possible in a horizontal progressive game.
      He mentioned that there was talk of maybe adding in something like limited resets...

      Currently the game feels very much designed for a traditional level up system where you can add attribute points to your character to great impact.
      I say this because the way most abilities are designed relies to heavily on what attributes you currently have.
      Without being able to freely change your attributes (even at a cost) Players are forced to only be able to use what works with the attributes they are given & not freely choose how to play the game themselves.

      In my opinion if your going to put a hard limit on attribute resets then you are killing your game.
      You created a great kill points resource with the knowledge system, use it for other things too.
      Give players 1 free Attribute reset, then make them pay 5,000 points each reset.
      This way players will think twice before using it, but it is cheap enough that you might want to change attributes before a big fight or raid, etc.

      If you do not create the proper systems for people to use, your game is going to kill itself...
      The only way limited resets would work is if attributes were worth nothing, hence you got nothing to reset...

      So what your saying is that My guild consists of Demons, Beasts & Humans. They live on separate planets doing their own things but are all part of my guild.
      How they became part of my guild when both demons and beasts have the opposite affiliation is a huge mystery.
      But for them to join my guild they would first need to have left their world, or i left mine.
      So if you implemented a language system that everyone has been talking about that uses the lore system to unlock & was the initial steps takes when travelling to another world. This would make complete sense for everything related to travelling to other worlds.
      Also a new member would be able to understand everyone in the guild as all guild members would have had to unlock the required language in order to join a guild.

      Lets try again.

      I upgraded my "Original pledge" with a "Founders pack" giving me Legend with A2 access and 8,000Gold.

      If you look at the "Founder Packs" you will find they have been updated. (most likely because Master to Legend just didn't seem worth it) So i should have 10,000Gold

      @Specter At no point did i say the old packs were "downgraded". Nothing changed for those who purchased an older "Founders Pack" is the entire point of this post.

      If this is how Dynamite studios really wants to move forward then i will say right now. I will not support Dynamite studios any more.
      obviously i will still play the game, however i will not post bugs nor will i write reviews or guides & i certainly wont be buying cosmetics.

      The recipe for Strong poison Paste only requires 1 x Unguent
      however it uses all the unguent currently available in players inventory regardless of being 1, 2 or 3.

      Seriously the mouse can't interact with anything at all.
      So cant cook food or pickup food from ground to stop yourself from starving unless you already have edible food in your inventory.

    • Looking for PVP guild

      Would like to join a guild that is primarily human or at least is planning to operate mainly on syndesia.
      Would also like the guild to have atleast 50 people or growing v-fast.

      I play from Australia & have a family so wont always be available for raids etc.

      What can i do for your guild?
      I would create stategic charts, each for a specific task.
      Eg, resource gathering, seeking knowledge, town valuation, etc

      What makes me better than another for such tasks?
      I'm not, specially if you know who the ruller of the 3 planets is.

      One of my favorite all time magic builds is the Battle Mage from Dragon Age: origins
      Tanky & can cast a number of spells (with reduced mana re-gen & efficentcy)
      But great for a secondary tank option

      If it was released with the current system i can all but garentee that 60-70% of people would run around with light armour, so they can cast spells & the other 25-30% would run heavy but only to compliment friends, tank & rush other players. (the remaining % would be people who dont follow the meta)

      The same goes for stats, if there is no reset system, the same % of people would put their all their stats into whatever gives the most versitility & dmg while using abilities that keep them safe, such as teleport, heal, slows, stuns, etc.
      Normally people would do a full magic or full archer build etc, but if you cant change stats, expect people to do builds that allow them to use almost everything.

      You can just look at past games games to see player behavior, its not like it will have a massivly different effect when the core elements are the same.
