Bit worried where the Kickstarter is

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but there is no way they are meeting 100k euros at this rate.
90 percent of KS donations come in the first 2 days, and the last 2 days.
The math just isn't there.
They need to do something radical.
That's kinda the point of my OP. But thank you
-
@dulu I would have agreed few days ago.
But as far as I noticed, there have been more backers yesterday than the other two days before yesterday. If this keeps more or less this level of new backers, they should be fine (even though I expected way more backers as well)

I can understand what your saying and probably that is the case.
But seeing that a lot of kickstarter campaigns didn't really deliver, my point of view keeps the same: Don't buy before it is officially released.
You maybe think it's bullshit what I'm saying, but I have to many bad experiences with early-access, kickstarter crap..
Edit: So what I meant was, that people don't really trust kickstarter to begin with and maybe that is why there aren't that much backers.
-
They'll get it on KS. All y'all rich Europeans will crack open the checkbooks
-
Hopefully people may be waiting for the beginning of the month to get paid, and the pledges will pick up
-
I was a little concerned by how fast it plateaued. Have to see how it goes, but currently I'm very worried about it.
The low section of this projection seems spot on currently http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/dymstudios/fractured-the-dynamic-mmo/#chart-exp-projection
Maybe they need to hype it up more? Get more videos and updates of some sort out? I know regular activity on a kickstarter generally results in noticeable upward trends.
-
there is nothing to be worried for, lets wait 10 days before end start worried...

If I were @Prometheus I would try to push out some videos of pvp gameplay tuesday and around friday post some video of different crafting. But this would depend on how much of those systems are developed. If crafting isn't developed beyond the house then they can't show it. I would advertise the game on twitch, reddit, imgur, fb and google.

Yo guys, help to put Fractured more in the spotlight by using the hype meter: https://www.mmorpg.com/fractured/hype
-
It should be fine, it's gonna pick more traction the closer it gets to the end.
-
Already at 43%, it will be fine the kickstarter will get there. The more info they give to us, the more people will pledge. For the ammount of marketing they did I think we are on the right track

(...) pvp gameplay(...)
Didn't Prometheus respond in another thread that they had no chance/time to develop that yet?
-
If it does fail, it'll be close. Day 1 was about 30k, and each day after that was about 2k or so. So we're on track to hitting about 89k Euros if things stay the same (which they probably will barring a major marketing push). Hopefully the devs don't spend too much time worrying about getting an extra 100k of funding from your future players, and have a strong Plan B of looking for private investors or a publisher. Again, I will reiterate that it's pretty impossible to finish this game without at least a few millions in funding, and that's in a good case where nothing goes wrong and they don't have to redo parts of the code base.
From my experience, once you have an actual game out there, even if it's in a buggy Beta state, (and as long as the gameplay is fun and engaging) people will put in a lot of money on founders packs at that time. Asking people to put up money even before we know if the game is good or not was always going to be a long shot, especially with an indie company that has no past association with big names in the industry.
-
@staticsprite For sure there will be a final push of 15\20% as every ks usualy do last days..
-
@jetah Yup, one reason the miss out on alot of people now. That might buy into packs at the own official website later on.
But you gotta all remember.
Normal KS behavior:
Day 1~7 = Spikes up
Day 8~25= Slow mellow increase, except when good news drop that people waited for
Day 25~9= Last slow rise of activity
Day 30= Last minute spikeSo far i have often seen that the last minute spike was about 50%~500% of the overall backers. That first day spike amounted to 10~30%. And the rest was mellowed in between.
I expect the count to go up in the end. Or rise steeply when people see what they want to see in an update.
PS: Alot of people still don't know this exist. Spread the word.

possibly. Although I think there is a human running from a beastkin in one of the gifs.

This game just needs a bit more exposure. Keep plugging it where you can!

Yes, but it's 43% of a tiny amount, coming from a small group of people.
It needs to raise more but, more important than that, needs more people willing to pony-up.
I fully understand Kickstarter fatigue, and people who have been ripped off in the past with it.
But for passion projects like this, they really do need support at this stage; even from the point of view of showing investors/publishers (who are clearly needed in this equation), that the interest/support is there.
So, yeah, even just greater numbers would be good at this stage; even if most of them only tossed in a small amount.
-
more people will put there money after they will see the future spotlights.

I don't understand that mindset at all. The premise, and what the game will be, is on the table.
There will be more 'fluff' announced, for sure, but if someone's sitting out there and doesn't understand what the game is going to be, based on what's already been said, they'd have to have a learning difficulty, to be honest.
I don't know what else can be shown, above and beyond what we already know, that could change someone's mind.
