(...)If I watched the video's and only saw 1 spear, 1 electric ability on both characters then I wouldn't ever think that the game had 398 more abilities to offer(...)
Which Kickstarter video have you ever seen featuring 400 abilities? At that point in development, why would they need the money from Kickstarter?

Beautiful video, excited for more!

i cant wait for the kick starter!!

Awesome.

@logain
they have other skills developed already. in that video they could have had a fire so they could swap skills (didn't have to show it).the game looks like a generic arpg from that video. now it's possible that video was there to showcase the environment and actions between the electricity and water but wasn't mentioned in the first post. it looks well polished, similar to the level of blizzard (a compliment to you and the team @Prometheus), but it is lacking.

Lol, how did I miss this? Only a week away!

Hi all! I think the game seems to be shaping up pretty well, especially at his pre-alpha stage!
If I could point out a little thing, I think the water effect of the swamp is a bit lacking (at this stage): the terrain seems gelatinous, and there are very few splash effects when the feet hit the water. I personally would increase at least the splash effects a little bit (to show that characters are running in shallow waters), it would add to the dinamicity of the action, especially during combat.
Can we expect some form of ambient dinamicity in the future? For example, in the swamp, bubbles of gas rising from the depths of some pools, an alligator emerging from the waters, the shadow of a cloud obscuring the sun a little bit, or a sudden downpour of rain?
Great job guys! : )

@sunlion
swamps are high humidity too so near dusk and dawn it should have fog or mist.

i've played poe since the league started and my wrist hurts because i have to use the lmb to move my character. it could be better if i had the option to bind a 'force move' to something else.
You'll be able to customize the functioning of mouse buttons and hotkeys - within the limits of click-to-move, of course.

I really like the isometric top-down view and the abilitys seem to have interactions with the ground.
Water+ Electric spell= Electrocute field?@jetah said in Kickstarter Update - Start Date & Video Teaser #1:

Indeed - and we realized we did a mistake not explaining it in the post and the video description (I've just added that). We though it would have been obvious the Shock Bolt we were casting was electrifying the water, but I guess many people assumed it was just a standard effect of the spell that would work everywhere (it's not!)

Variable weather conditions and day/night cycles are going to be an important part of the Fractured gameplay, so sure!

I'm having problems in PoE and D3 where I click and end up attacking a mob, breakable or move then attack. My wrist is hurting because of the click to move on PoE. I really like the "Force Move" on D3 because I can set it to W or ↑. Force Move doesn't hurt my wrist at all!

Cant wait, looks hype!
