RE: Weekly Drawings - Be Active & Win Foundation Points!
Hi! I asked the guys of the italian section of IGN if they could help with the KS campaign of Fractured, and they posted an article about it: http://it.ign.com/fractured-pc/142759/news/fractured-un-mmo-italiano-cerca-fondi-su-kickstarter.

Pease help spread the word part II : )
Hello guys, I think that everyone of us that loves and supports this project could help by spreading the word.
Yesterday night I sent a mail to the guys of the italian section of IGN to ask them to help the KS campaign of Fractured, and they were so kind and helpful that they published an article about it less then 12 hours later (http://it.ign.com/fractured-pc/142759/news/fractured-un-mmo-italiano-cerca-fondi-su-kickstarter).
I sincerely did not expect such a nice and prompt response, but this proves that if every one of us just tried sending a single email to the major gaming sites, we could help a big deal raise awareness of the game!
This is a call to arms for every fellow player!! -
RE: Losing interest...
@mattdaniel I think we should hope the KS campaign is successful! That would be a great help for the development of the game! Why would you hope it failed? We should try not to think only about ourselves: the guys working on Fractured have a lot at stake here

RE: Why is the Kickstarter (almost) failing.
I think this project is very interesting, and the game -in this very early stage- is shaping up quite nicely.
Every one of us has different stories, different backgrounds and financial means, so it is not possible to generalize, and I certainly do NOT want to.
One thing is clear, though, we ARE all browsing the internet in search of a potential PC game to play, we are not on this site looking for a job (well, maybe there are some programmers or artists who are looking for an employment opportunity ).That said, 20β¬ (Recruit Early Bird) diluted over 2 years is less than 1β¬ per month....
We should look at this sum as a kind of investment. The time it takes to get a fully playable game, is also time we can use to interact with the developers (who are very open to dialogue), to help them shape the game in a way even more appealing to each of us.
Plz don't take offence, it's just my 2 cents -

i hope not. i hate having a job outside of having a job.
I agree with you 100%!
@grofire said in Daily Quests?:
as much as we know there is no daily quest, furthermore there is no quests, except the god quests.
One thing that worries me a little bit is the lack of quests (except for divine ones).
I wonder if, sooner or later, I'll grow bored with the collecting of resources, building of the house, doing a profession job, then trading and going out exploring with an ever increasing quality of the equipment to kill stronger enemies.
That's all nice, and in many MMORPGs those activities are often the object of menial quests given by NPCs (go fetch some herb! go kill 2 ducks!). But it's somewhat prosy, somewhat like the translation of our daily activities (not that we are smelting ingots everyday ) in a fantasy world.
Yeah, there will be factions, and political intrigue and battles, but I'd also like something more "high fantasy", big epic stories, world changing stories, involving artifacts, lost civilizations, higher powers and the like...
Maybe the GMs could announce -every now and then- the strange drying of a big lake with the resourfacing of a long lost mythical city...or the central square of a city could suddendly cave in revealing a complex network of tunnels...
Ok, plz bear with me, I'm still a 13 yo at heart -
RE: Losing interest...
@mattdaniel I personally don't think that not being able to partecipate to the alpha phase is a dealbreaker.
I mean, I've playtested for a few games, including WoW at launch, and it's fun, it's rewarding, you can give some meaningful feedback to the developers, but that's not the only way one can partecipate to the development of a game as a part of the community. As you know very well, there's the forum, the livestreams, the social media...
Moreover alpha testing can even be discouraging since one can expect bugs, a limited game experience etc.
I personally feel that experiencing a nicely polished game at launch is also something not to look down upon -
RE: What will be you main intention in the game ?

I'm sure exploration will be my main goal, then trade.
I second that!
