Wut?????????
-
ummm?

I must say there are some problems with the early-access video. Bugs, FPS drops, confusing gameplay clips and also some wrong/missleading info here and there.
Now the question is, if we are going for an early access, are going to have a wipe?
-
Yes there will be a wipe, and one more on release.
-
You have to be kidding?
Character development is still woefully incomplete and has been since the beginning
Farming is still incomplete and mildly painful
And did you actually fix the bug that was causing issues after a raid or siege?
-
The only reason a wipe at this time would be remotely acceptable is if they are; brining in vegetables and leafy greens, alchemy, imbuing, AND changing the item crafting / durability system. thus the need to remove all the older stuff we have stockpiled.
If these things are not all done then it will just be a repeat of the start of beta all over again with the same mess and problems.
-
Ngl. That video was pretty cool. Wish you didn't do the demon first.
-
Just a quick bit of feedback, whoever did the voiceover for the trailer nailed it. Had an epic feeling.
Also, the following reddit post is currently the top thread on r/MMORPG:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MMORPG/comments/wqnq5q/fractured_online_early_access_september_15/Which shows it's at least got people curious about it. Which is promising.
-
In regard to Seasons, will the current season end before the wipe? It would be really nice to see how this works before it is restarted. Don't make our efforts and time wasted.
-
@Kazzier Well it is reddit, so I guess it could be worse

I can't see anything about existing account holders and Steam. With Albion Online, Guild Wars 2 and other MMORPG's, the steam client requires a separate account. Is this the case here or do those of us that bought Founder's packs get some benefits?
-
Since it is steam early access can we assume we are getting steam keys for those who kickstarted?
-
Mobile version
PC version
-
@muker I would just assume it looks very bad on mobile. certainly hasn't been optimized for that yet
-
Works fine for me on mobile.

салам алейкум!
it is impossible to go to the 2nd page of the news, when you go to the 2nd page, you are sent back to the first. Of course, I understand that this is all being "developed", but damn, gamigo group is already financing the project and they can't hire testers? It's just ridiculous.
dudes, well come on, well, aren't you really working on this problem?
* If you click on the link "game" or "community", then there is no transition, a transition is possible on the link "news"
* News sections updates and events do not correspond to reality, there is no latest news
Maybe I'm a stuffy miser, but is it impossible to do it qualitatively at one time?
-
Funding is going into Development, WE are the Testers.
That is probably how most of us would like it, too. Better for more to go into Bug Fixes and more content, than to waste money on additional Corp. Testers to come in and check things out.
Also, I don't really see where this fits into a thread about Early Access.
i mean, yeah, sure, early access is where a bunch of new people will come in and critique everything, possibly adding to some complaint bombing for little things, but really, I think there are already threads in that regard elsewhere, and this post is more focused specifically on Early Access.

@OlivePit With a large influx of new players from steam. Big difference.
-
Just as the new players we got this last free weekend appreciated and used the experienced players to allow them to play the game without massive headaches or bottle necks (like having no towns, or no-one with the recipies to make a thing, or no ingots smelted or hide tanned or rare mats farmed) so too would these new players who come in the 15th appreciate the materials we have and the lack of compeition for the basics.
With a wipe everyone will be competing for the same begining resources and mobs.. and the new players will be over run by the experienced ones who will not be slowing down to help out the new people.
