Forum Downtime 2017 Dec 13-14

Hi all,
as you know all too well, the Fractured forums have been offline for over 1 day (and just recovered) from a tragically failed update. We'd like to apologize for the prolonged downtime - that was really unexpected for us too.
During the downtime, we've changed server settings so that if such incidents occur in the future, you'll be automatically redirected to the page tracking the status of all Fractured services:
As a gift for your patience and dedication, we've also decided to add 200 Foundation Points (1 Level) to all existing accounts!
Since we're aware some of you were alarmed seeing your total experience in The Foundation fall (as you didn't know it was temporary), we are changing the system so that it uses cached values instead of fetching them at runtime from the forums if the latter is not reachable. No more scares!
See you soon for the next update!
Best,
Prometheus

Thank you!

mh 200 points is not really much, but a forum downtime of a game that isnt near the alpha isnt much of a thing^^
-
free gift yuhu
-
welcome back
-
200 points it seems fair hahaha
-
50 for posting + daily you wont get 200 per day XDDDDD
-
It's very nice of you to give us 200 points as "compensation" for the down time in my opinion. Though you didn´t even need to give us anything cus we would understand, at least I would
Thanks again ^^

glad ur back up and running! thanks for the gift as well

I logged on and got taken back a bit. I had to log on with a different browser and check... then I figured it would all be fixed latter. Thanks for the boost! I will never say no to extra points!

Not a problem! Thanks for the gift!
-
Yeah! It is back!

Thanks a bunch and good luck for the future

Thanks for this. What’s important is that you didn’t go radio silent on us like so many developers do. I’m always pleased to see developers that communicate with their communities in such a way that you realize the devs are also only people.
This is the type of thing that garners an incredible amount of good will, and shows us that you are not just fly-by-nights looking for a quick buck. I’m looking forward to sharing in your success with this game.
Good luck, and keep on being human.

Communication is key. I hate game development companies that go completely silent whenever there's unexpected (extended) downtime. Even though this was just the forum and not the game, communication is still important and I hope that the devs keep this up once the game is live aswell.

Why the beastmen / demon discrimination?

Thanks! Was interesting, my dad wanted me to log my account in to see if my points changed, thought he found a way to mess with me lol.

Didn't notice, but thank you! Free gifts and transparent business model are always a good sign.

@tulukaruk Lol! Alright: “Keep on being whatever race keeps you communicating!”
