Let's take a poll

Lets figure out who is going to play what race and how many.
Type:
1 for Beasts
2 for Humans
3 for DemonsI feel the answer will be humans lol.

Also i think you assuming wrong, i think humans will be at at third place, since they are.... just humans.

I doubt that, beastman 55%, humans 40%, demons 5% is my humble guesstimate.
Beastman have a clear gameplay advantage over demons and a good deal of people is interested in PvE. Humans have a special mechanic (siege). Demons are rather useless (sadly ).

So getting your town - in which you invested a lot of time - besieged and ruined while you're away from the game is "oodles of fun", ...
...but launching unpredictable attacks, seeing shitty NPC guards driven before you, and hearing lamentations of town owners (when they log back in) is "boring, not much"?!

My point was more from a gameplay perspective. In my humble opinion Beastman have 'unique' gameplay elements compared to the other races, Humans have 'unique' gameplay elements compared to the other races, but the only 'unique' gameplay mechanic of demons is not suffering a debuff during certain times when raiding humans.
Hence for a min maxer, it appears far more logic to choose either Beastman or Human.
