Anyone a collector?

I collect gaming and movie stuff. From collectors boxes to figure sets, games/shows/ and movies that I love end up getting physically represented. The more rare the better. I have taken over one room in the house, now I need to get a bigger house.

I collect the hopes, dreams and sometimes the nightmares of children.
Seriously though: Magic the Gathering cards (though this is only once every few years that I get the urge) and Monster in my Pocket. Managed to track down the full series 1 with the Monster Mountain.
At 32 years of age, for some reason I felt the need to collect it. You know how it is: Couldn't afford it when you were little, or didn't have the means to collect it, but now you can.

Two fairly related things for me. The first, old horror movies. The original non boxed versions of the puppet masters movies was pretty difficult. Second, anything related to Kingdom Death: Monster.

Currency, but not in the joking way that EvolGrinZ just said. I have a variety of bills and coins from around the world, both modern and more historic.

I have some cool EverQuest stuff, the original promotional poster (the same that is on the original box) that was latter sold but the promotional posters are just a little smaller (by an inch). I just happened to be a computer tech at a Computer City that had a cool game rep that gave away a ton of stuff. I also collected all the figures. In many ways EverQuest changed how I looked at gaming. It was the first game I sought out things to collect.

I collect vintage pyrex and mid century barware.

I do collect Steel Box cases of games and movies (especially the ones i like) and I do collect graded, signed and rare comics

The only thing I really collect are cookbooks. Starting to get a really nice collection of very interesting cookbooks. But I will need a bigger bookcase, cause my current one is pretty full and have a box with some old and less interesting cookbooks.

@dj35 miniatures (to paint) i suck atpaintunng though. so i have 300.. not painted. i collect also physical game items. i also collect dungeons and dragons 3.5 and pathfinder adventures, books etc. but since importing them has become really expensive and versions keeo changing faster and faster i didnt add anything new to my collection...
