Inquiry About Race Customization
-
Hi I am new to the community and this is my first post. One thing that I have been curious about when first observing this game are how the "Three races" are broken down. I am very curious how character customization will work! From the videos on Kickstarter the races seem to broken down as:
Beastmen: cat-like or wolf-like humanoids
Demons: minotaur-like
Humans: nationalities/skin tonesMay there possibly be different types of "Beastmen" (i.e. differential species such as plant women or bear warrior in concept art) or "Demons" (i.e. female demon)? What about Humans(different nationalities depending on settlement or spawn area on Syndesia)?
-
My bad, I did more digging and found more information:
https://fracturedmmo.com/feature-spotlight-1-three-races-three-gameplays/Which race are you most looking foward to playing?
-
Going beastmen, and most likely the Hart-kin (Elks) since they will be the mages of the group
-
Starting Uno (wolf-kin), will have a Cha (tiger kin), a human, and either an Infernal or a Blood demon, depending on how their powers (and their angels) work. After that, we'll see how the remaining races still in development are.
-
Lion-kin and aligator-kin will be probably the first expansion to races
-
What would be wrong with squirrel-kin and bunny-kin?
-
@gothix well it depends about on how you feel about being killed by a rabbit then doesn't it mate
'look out the monster'
"where behind the rabbit?"

@FibS Beast Man (Rabit-Kin) gotta have "human form" feet and arms, not be a classic bunny.
-
Let me tell youabout rabbits

Damn, that player char with mustache is looking so weird lol.
I preffer how my pretty char looked like:

So to conclude, I guess we can agree that in the end rabbit kin wouldn't be so weird as one of future sub races.
-
@gothix yup. The big issues are "what do they do" and "what are their powers" - with Lion and Alligator, you round out (potentially) the 6 stat Affinities for the Beastmen, making it hard to support a 7th, unless their transformed power is notably different - and we are semi-running out of different "enough" - 3 of the current beasts get some speed enhancement from shifting, so simply making rabbit "go fast" isn't an answer. I'm honestly not sure what would be.
-
the rabbit from TSW fits more into demon category then beastkin

Rabbits have strong teeth, so they could have some "bite" boosts, perhaps some extra evasion.
Or they could invade Tartaros and eat demon telephone cables... screw their comms up.
-
I agree with Gothix on the evasion buff, they could be the "rogue" that the beastmen currently dont have.
-
well if you were to send just one male and female rabbit beastkin over to tartaros then I reckon that soon enough after nature took its course they would rule the planet thru numbers

Or you could send 2 male rabbit beastkin... It's a modern world ain't it?
Also, who said rabbits can't mix with bears?
