Larger Crafting Possibilities?

It would be pretty cool if they offered some sort of larger crafting, such as base building or something related to that degree.

"We are building, a boat."
Devs: what.
"We are building a boat, we are bringing logs and nails and sail cloth," Devs: who implemented sail cloth?! "and sail cloth and rope, and we, are going to go sailing."Devs:...well...um...(anyone actually implement hit detection on the ocean areas? are they just going to fall through? oh gods, why?!) - That's for a later expansion!!!
I do like the idea of building "Things" of a grand proportion - but I'm not sure if how that works with the blueprinting system the devs are using for the starter buildings. maybe something like Skyrim's build mechanism, where you bring materials, and then put it through a work bench interface to make structures, furniture, and modifications?

There's no free form building, but there is crafting of larger structures. Everything in a town has to be built up by players.
-
The pledges allow you to build all kinds of large structures, a cottage, villa, palace, manor, and even a castle. I'm sure some of those will be available on the website store soon enough! @nubnub117

That's one thing I like from Age of Conan. Guilds can build up their bases, using resources gathered and made by members.
-
Towns in fractured have to be built the same way. Unless you got a Governors pledge, if I'm not mistaken @warpuppy

We'll be able to craft houses, shops, city walls, defensive towers, horse drawn wagons and magical gates to the other two worlds. What else did you have in mind?

Personally more freedom in designing said things you outlined. More of a blueprint system. Although I don't expect that right off the bat, but that'd be nice.

I'd like that too. I'm not counting on it though, because they plan on selling blueprints through the ingame store. I just hope there will be a lot of different blueprints for houses and carts. If a lot of ingame things look identical, it makes to world seem fake.

Nice idea!

Actually, I like that they are going for a minimal (easy to implement) system. They have a limited amount of programmers working on the project and I'd rather them do things 'right', then do plenty of stuff, but just barely 'working'.
