Stupidly, I didn't take a screenshot before I left the plot and re-entered after being confused of the situation. I was heavily over-encumbered while entering my plot and had my inventory and the crafting interface open. I looked down after crafting about 20 bone arrowheads and couldn't see the management icon for my plot, despite being inside it. Leaving the plot and re-entering fixed it though, so I don't have a screenshot

No plot management icon, while in personal plot

RE: Shadow Walk visability
I just tested this on monsters. It works perfectly fine on monsters. They can't detect you, even if you walk in from off screen.
-
Active yet Inactive Shadow Walk ability
sometimes, Shadow walk will randomly drop without any reason to, but the skill itself will remain active, despite your character being fully visible on your screen.
it's difficult to see on a frozen screenshot... but you can see the yellow lines that circle the icon of Shadow Walk, when it is active.

RE: Crafting Stations and Processing Stations
@trik they are already limited, byt the amount of space they have available to place crafting stations.

Stealth Detection on non-aggressive mobs
I activated Stealth and ran up to a fox, letting it detect me. Shadow Walk went down after about 10 seconds and the fox continued to act as if I wasn't there. It didn't run away at all, like they usually do for a few minutes. This is easily replicatable.

Necrotic Disease attacking mobs
I used the blight skill on a fox, succeeding to debuff it... but it is doing literally nothing to it.

RE: Shadow Walk visability
I did another test. I got @LilCassiopeia to stand still. I activated stealth and he confirmed he couldn't see me. I ran off screen and back again and he could see me perfectly fine.

Shadow Walk visability
Whether someone is in stealth or not isn't calculated when a player moves on screen. I was in Stealth With Shadow walk active and wandered to @LilCassiopeia's plot, but he could see me as if i wasn't stealthed at all.

shadow walk movement speed
When hiding in Stealth using Shadow Walk, your movement speed is noticably reduced. the description says nothing at all about a move speed reduction. Also, the character interface doesn't change the value shown for move speed, as if your move speed hasn't been modified at all. It's possible that it is negating my 9% move speed bonus from dex... but it feels like i am losing more than just 9% move speed.

material select closing on me
I was looking at all the bonuses the different materials gave in the blacksmith, while someone was building their house on screen in the background. Seemingly every time they made an interaction with either their wagon or the blueprint, it would close the selection window on me.

RE: persistence unknown effect?
Even after the 5 mins it took me to resize the screenshot and get to the forums to post it... it still lingers
EDIT: and still persisting even 10 minutes after that -
persistence unknown effect?
No clue what this is... I saw it and thought a wisp had invaded Duath, ages away from the heartwood, for a second...

riding a horse on a chest
this is a simple blueprint before and after scenario, where the houses take up more space when they are built, than they do as a blueprint. Blueprint collisions are never consistent. Placed the chest blueprint before i started building the house. this is the result.

RE: Make housing plots / land parcels more intuitive and less ugly
In previous tests, when you walked onto an unclaimed plot, the icon had a red exclamation mark on it, making it alot more visable. The devs should bring it back

RE: Bow crafting
@GamerSeuss said in Bow crafting:
The real historical benefit of the Short Bow over the Longbow was that you could fire the shortbow on horseback much easier than a longbow (unless your using a Daikyo the Samarai Longbow
Historically, the english longbows also weren't supposed to be drawn with 2 hands. You would draw the string with one hand and lean on the bow with the weight of your body to bend it ^c^ I'm not sure about other longbows, but I have admired english longbows for ages now :3

Have a blacklist, a working chat scroll lock and the ability to turn off specific chats would be amazing!!

RE: Non-Forum Players
Very well put @GamerSeuss !!! Small guilds don't always want a large influx of players to grow larger. In fact, the Guild i run, The Moonshadow Dryads, is planned to remain small (20-30 members total).
Your concerns, @Mirgannel12 are understandable though. But like GamerSeuss said, small guilds are usually a tight-knit community sorta deal, or they are a group of sometimes even real life friends playing together. A lot of the time, even small guilds have their own discord servers too, to help with communications to keep in touch, set up parties, make small events, do city planning, organise stuff with allies, diplomacy... the list goes on. Some guilds, I am sure, will only accept players willing to join their discords, as a result. You seem to be concerned that it's almost impossible for players to join new guilds or become citizens as well. In smaller guilds especially, I wouldn't be surprised if there were many Vice-Governors than can accept new citizens, or officers in guilds to add new members. As counter intuitive as it sounds, in smaller communities, everyone knows everyone so well, that everyone can be trusted to be responsible with a higher role. In a guild of say 400, there will likely be a lot of players you don't know personally, and there is a higher risk of spies or internal griefers being present without anyone knowing.
That said, assuming most small guilds are similar to mine in that aspect, there is more than just 1 or 2 people able to invite other citizens/guild members in smaller communities. They are possibly more cautious as well though, as getting even just 1 griefer can immensely disrupt the effort the entire guild or even collection of guilds, has put in! Not that it wouldn't be a problem for even a larger guild. It would still pose an issue, just theoretically not as big of one. However, in a larger guild, they would certainly be harder to find, to weed out. So it could arguably be a bigger problem!
When someone applies to a city as well, the application will remain there until either the player that lodged it, deletes it, or a Governor/Vice-governor either accepts it, or deletes it. So offline time, isn't a problem. The only potential problem is getting in contact with the guild and becoming part of it, before they might be willing to accept you as a citizen.

RE: Metal Gear not so Solid
@GreatValdus I personally don't find it difficult to gather minerals. Yes, you do need alot more of them still, but you can have a new set every 4h from nothing, whereas, it takes 16h to cure leather to make mage sets. The only way around this, I can see, is if the devs make it so 5 raw ore, smelts into 2 or 3 ingots, now that ingots are no longer 'heavy materials'.
