i think the initial expected date was the 13th of either June or July, can't remember, but i could have the date wrong too i guess some time within the next month and a half for sure unless they push it back a heap.

@Xzoviac I don't think you seem you understand what RPG means... All it means is that you play as a character in actuality... you play that characters role in a game, no matter how limited it is. It could be as extensive as levelling up to lvl 10m and equipping up to 20 different pieces of armour and weapons, and having minions and pets and be able to build your own town and city, or build a space station... or it could be something as simple as being a herb farmer, talking to only 3 different NPC's, levelling up your proficiency and understanding of the herbs and not being able to change any equipment. Just gathering herbs and selling them. it is still an RPG... you are playing the role of a herb gatherer... it just wouldn't be as interesting as the RPG where u have 10m levels to go through and 20 different pieces of gear to make choices. In almost all JRPG's you dont get any choice to do much of anything... they are completely linear.

I havn't seen the albion builder thing, but it is anything like the Path of Exile builder, i'm down with it :3

i dont think it would work that well if it was a solid 10% per stone. Coz it'd be 100% chance to kill you if you were sleeping... you would have to consider variables... like if you are in a desert... 0% chance of spread... coz what will it spread to? a forest... 100% chance to spread, even with stones, coz unless u clear the ground around it, the stones aren't gonna do anything...

@Xzoviac That's a rather interesting and highly valid point. alot of players will want to try out all the classes... i wonder how they are gonna do it

to be fair, alpha is alpha, which is expected to be a bare base game. it is usually in a beta that the game will look closer to release and have stylish biomes and little bits extra to make a huge difference. Even if the biomes all look very similar now, sometimes it doesn't take much to make 2 things that look the same, drastically different from one another.

alot of this makes it seem like a multiplayer skyrim, lol. do what u want, when u want. (that is if you ignore the quests in skyrim and just play to have fun and explore)

Can the moderators of the forum please put in a search box or something up the top so people looking for a specific topic can search for it. It would make it alot easier to find out if anyone had already asked a question you have, as well as reduce spamming of the same questions.
