Pre-alpha invites!

@tulukaruk literally it already has started, because all what is playable right now is Pre-Alpha, just played by Devs

some are worried that it already started without them.
That will no doubt happen considering how small the first wave is going to be. Will we give an announcement when it starts? Probably, considering the fact we can't keep it a secret anyway due to the public post/thread counter on the pre-alpha subforum.
With that said, I strongly urge everyone to tone down their expectations because quite frankly a lot of people here are making it sound like the pre-alpha is going to be a demo with lots of content to play. in reality the pre-alpha is mainly aimed at testing things like performance, not features. It's the alpha test for alpha 1.

@specter been in pre-alpha before. I know it's probably less then 1% of the finished game. I just wanna test whatever is there to test and imagine how that will be in the full game with all the features described in the spotlights on the Fractured website

@tulukaruk Agreed, so long as everyone can keep it a little fun and light hearted. There's good venting, and then there is the kind of stuff that turns into bitterness.
I think we have stuck pretty well to the first part. I think that Specter is trying to keep people from feeling too frustrated as well. I don't think the goals are really at odds, so much as people having different perspectives.

I tell since ages, that the Pre-Alpha will not be fun to play, because it is hard work for the tester and they not even will see much about the game.
Pfffff.... i think i will stay at my - That is the real interesting thing these days

I have been playing the heck out of Star Citizen these past few weeks. I would highly recommend checking out the free fly while waiting for the alpha testing here. I am impressed with what they have accomplished so far. Of course there are salty people out there that will bash it, but it seems to be the new in pass time to be offended or salty so I simply ignore them. I hope I can help out here with the alpha but my butt will not be hurt if I am forced to play other games instead.
