Dungeon master tool

    Hi 🙂
    Will it be possible in a far future to create dungeon ? (like Neverwinter or other)
    A guild's dungeon or a magic caster's dungeon could be cool 😄

    It might be, but I expect that would be a fair way down the road. Buildings seem like they will be mostly pre-defined by a set of blueprints just yet. IF they get enough time to toss into a modular system of some sort then we could get some more creativity going with that, but that's something that is a lot of extra work for a rather small segment of the population (including me, I build crazy stuff when given the chance)! At least, that was my impression from the blogs and videos.

    Anyway, think of it as a 'That'd be nice, but there's a bunch of other bigger priorities' and I'd bet you'll be spot on. 🙂

    an interesting thing but probably not in the cards for release and TBH I'd rather release the game with the content they promised rather than delay the game so they can add something like this

    In a game that supports procedural generation and SpatialOS, sure I can definitely see this down the line in one of the future expansions.

    This would require a decent development time, so I doubt we will see this on release, but down the line if game is successful enough, sure, it's quite possible. 🙂

    Would be awesome if we could charm/tame/dominate/trap monsters to use in town defense.... 🙂

    I would not totally be against it because it is possibly more content...but i would prefer it to be made by the devs. If players are making the dungeons i just hope they could keep loot in line.

    Perhaps just some achievement that could be displayed in dungeon owners housing area.

    For example:

    • player builds a dungeon that other teams can explore
    • there is time frame in which other parties must complete the dungeon
    • owner of dungeon could keep a score, how many times his dungeon managed to defeat attackers (they didn't finish it in designated time frame) and that score could be displayed on flag on players house, and number would update accordingly.
    • if attackers manage to complete dungeon in time, they could get some reward (there could be a cool down on dungeon attempts each player would have tracked for his own character, perhaps 1 dungeon attempt per day, this way dungeons wouldn't be abused to repeatedly hand out rewards)

  • TF#8 - GENERAL AMBASSADOR

    map builders are a good way to make a great game, plus if we go even more neverwinter and add player made quests/stories I'd be hyped

    oh man i remember those in Neverwinter. Great idea but they didn't do much to keep the quality high.

    I quit a long ago, but my experience making dungeon and let it played by other was fun (i like puzzle, trap and hidden things a lot)

    @Gothix it would be fun yep...
    @roccandil I don't think or perhaps if you tame it first in the world, bring back in your dungeon and use it when you could 😄 it's not it's very OP
    @Jairone I said "far futur" no "near futur" ^^ so when the roadmap dev will be near the completion (2-3 years from now)😜

    Very unlikely, as those kinds of generators require resources guys won't have for quite some time. As a minimum - created dungeons, if they can be filled by mobs at player's will, must be premoderated. Otherwise, this system will be abused like it was in the Neverwinter.

    u cant have a lich without a dungeon, or a wizard without his tower i needs this in his life
