i want it doe 3
u cant have a lich without a dungeon, or a wizard without his tower i needs this in his life
@gothix you should totally go with the archer, who will most likely be able to use dagger and other assasination skills AS well which would make you a very good anti mage troop.
Going invisible most likely very good disengage skills like long hoops or speed bursts, arrow volley, silencing arrow, headshot, backstab and so on and so on. What is there to Miss...
Not to mention you should have an actual usable auto attack unlike a mage and if there is a specialisation tree tuen yes, mages may habe 9 trees to specialise in but no way they will acquire true mastery in More schools than anyone else.
Also there are only 3 schools oft magic with DMG potencial if i remember right all the while illusion magic and co may just AS well be employed by archers etc.
We should all wait and keep an open mind instead of comming to conclusions without facts to back Them up.
And the higher learning speed makes sense since there will simply be more skills for mages to acquire and they wont be able to acquire a Prosper/ favored build in a comparable time to everybody else. Also u warriors can usw weapons, armors and shields unlike mages
So yeah still cant understand...
Int overloaded since lots oft different magic is based on it.
Yet how many weapon types will there be and how many skills will be used with poleweapon or two handed sword or axe and shield.
Second we dont know, so i would not simply assume, until proven wrong would at most State a concern but not make it Seem a fact. I personally havent Seen any Prove yet AS to int being op.
Why exactly do ppl think intelligente will be more powerful than other stats?
Int = all magic power scaling
Strength = all strenght based weapon scaling
Der = all der based power scaling
Its just a matter of numbers ppl. Strenght skills may Scale higher than magic and be cast via stamina, while der based skills may simply be CD based without any Ressource.
All the while the knowledge gain in int makea sense since there will probs be 100 melle and 100 der skills while there will be 200 magic skills. Who would put poinzs inti wisdom while strength or vitality werd options with mich higher gains since More DMG vor HP clearly beats an inferior intelligente skill without scaling
Edit. Auto correct in mobiles suk. Hope everyone understands my point
Few things to make necromancers really cool and not simply a zerg:
Unlimited Undead summon possible but need to require corpses, and will have time limits.
Desecrated ground shall negate said time limit, but have its own time limit.
A multitude of support skills for undead, aka. cadaver explosion, undead rage, life siphon (to caster via killing of own undead), buff undead with DoTs' aka make them plague carriers, and so on (i could literally keep going for half an hour here)
As for a more fun, less diablo esque undead combat, which thrutfully sucks as your stuck to watching your minions slaughter everyone with little to do yourself except spam curses/ more summns, be able to have undead array in formation and only target selected "areas"/ targets so as to actually have any gameplay as necromancer which would also increase their defensive capabilities and make them less swarmy overall
curses to bring enemies down in strenght so as to not make strong undead a necessity, but make them relevant nonetheless simply by making everybody else just as irrelevant
All of this would make necromancer hordes rather tricky to pull off but a possibility and a fun one at that which would require a multitude of tactics and coordination to pull off and not have them simply point at an area which to obliterate.
Not to forget there are like a thousand spell possibilites that have nothing to do with undead minions. Hope there are cool original spells among the necromancy school and please, for gods sake, have everything be skill shots, nothing i despice more than sure-hit spells
Thou seeing how the necromancy introduction video has the caster raise 3 skeletons from nothing alrdy dispenses lots of these ideas.
or being dmged by healing abilities and just regular healing penalities, like only being able to heal via necromancy and the likes. They did state under conjuration magic that it would hurt undead after all (if i remember it right)
Definietly agree there
I mean I know the cahr editor, made one or two myself. But its not all that great still ...
I could do almost just as good with the dark souls char creator, except with that I could go more grotuesqe as well. In BDO I couldn't make proper sunken cheeks for example and when I went to far with the jaw suddenly the insides of the mouth clipped through
Just saying that despite how highly its praised its not all that great in my oppinion. Still good ofc, better than most but to limiting for my taste.
and with this this game has become a must play for me....
Can't wait to hear what special tid-bits the liches will be able to do unlike standard humans (if at all...)
I personally wouldn't mind a higher undead minion count or something ~
Urgot wants his legs back
We will see what fun rides they will come up with, thou I am much more concerned about balance concerned stuff. Such as, will monsters be strong enough and offer actual challenges ( as said im a dark souls fan). I just hope this won't be anything like diabolo, where the hardest enemies have like... 5 moves max and even when u get hit by everything it is unlikely you will die.
Or how they manage to keep the entirety of the playerbase balanced related to number of races in contrast to singular strenghts of the playerbase on the different planets. As in, hopefully tartharos won't overun the game / hopefully tartharos will not be easily disregarded due to too much defenders.
Thou I will be fine if either pvp or pve hits my sweetspot
