I may have overlooked it but what types of God's are there for character selection and what are there bonuses / faults for using them

'(...)your race limits what gods you can choose, which in turn restricts your alignment options(...)'
So the gods you can choose depend on which race you selected.
As for which gods exist:
Beastmen - Elysium, which is thought to be the source of Arboreus’ primal energy; Tyros, god of light and justice; Nelena, goddess of the wild and mother of all beastmenHumans - Iridia, goddess of fortune and mother of all humans, and Galvanos, god of knowledge and keeper of the nine paths of magic, who always showed a great appreciation for the human persistence and fascination with progress
Demons - After the Fracture, Tartaros became the prison of the dread Babilis, left to be the only god watching over the planet and its demonic progeny.
I doubt there's any bonus or drawbacks (yet) though that sounds like a fancy idea!

What's the point in having a god then heh. The problem is will they let you change it later if it doesn't work out the way you wanted ugh...

Yep! Super excited about this! Wanted to do a Gyild for South Africans, but it felt wrong, as it didn't feel very fitting with the game lore and world. Instead trying to create a guild centered on following Galvanos, while trying to stay neutral. We'll see how the Keepers pan out in coming months.

@Holya @Greenfire @warhard The name you use for your hero profile doesn't get reserved. That's because it's not the actual way you'll create a character for the game.

Uuuuu, so excited.

I can't seem to save my hero. I choose the options, name, etc and it all looks fine. When I press save it all goes poof and I can't create a guild or look at my profile as it was never created.

As much as I'd love to see the Kickstarter sooner than later, I hope they take their time and have a 'demo' ready (as they have intended) to show beforehand. And since they have noted that most people nowadays do not understand the concept of '(pre-)alpha', they better take the time for that demo to look good.

They aren't, but there will be a way to reserve names in the future.
@aries we'll post a full spotlight dedicated to gods - including game mechanics (not only lore). You'll be able to make a very informed decision then! :slight_smile:

Doesn't hurt to have your character ready. I might be wrong but I think you get points for making it or get points daily for it. Haven't read to much into it yet
