Lets get some Two-Factor Authentication on this site.
Google Authenticator is free to add for developers/hosts.
I have had a few accounts "hacked" back in my day and would love to avoid that here.

Yeah we've already seen alike threads being made way back when, I believe around the time of the kickstarter campaign, but I don't think we ever got a clear answer (if we ever got one period). It's really long due, you are absolutely correct.

Absolutely, there should be an OTP for Login.
They already have an Account Guard running, where you get an e-mail with an one time code, but i think, that will be not enough.
I would like to have an OTP Token, that i can generate by myself and thats not get sending over the internet, where some man in the middle can grab them. Especially for the Game Login later.
Would be afraid just to use a password, that not even take special characters (not sure, if the new forum is able to use special characters finally), for my account with probably an governor status ingame.

Both game and forum passwords can have special characters but i agree it would still be nice to have TFA.

Google Authenticator kept my Runescape and other accounts safe for years, I would 100% support it here.

a few people put 10k into the game but there's no 2FA (i've argued for it since KS).
captura is already bypassed by programs. email 2fa just sucks because they know they need the email as well as the game info and typically the username is the email.
