Stuffing your tail into armor, sounds painful. Why not have a special tail hole in the armor so you can move your tail freely.

For Hellfire demons a lizard like tail would be nice. And they'll have to do it eventually for Crocodile-kin anyway

Why not. Adds more unique flair to the different races. Helps them stand out from eachother.
