Feature Spotlight #5 - Character Creation, Attributes And Resting
-
I want to play this game
-
Would like to see talent tree, etc

What's the significance of the cell colors in the race/attribute table (red, green, blue)? The minus ones are red, up to +2 green, and +3 blue. Do the colors mean something or just a quick way to find those categories?
Actually on closer inspection some +3 are also green.
-
@kellewic The blue one is the affinity.
-
@kellewic Green/red show the increased/decreased cap level. The blue stat costs less points to raise.

Awesome thanks. I thought that might be the case since red and green only seemed to indicate plus and minus.
-
And of course on reading that section for the 5th time, I see where it mentions the affinity
-
Ameazing!!
-
this look very awesome guys
-
@33hp to be accurate yes- but would this be a good feature NO! It would really crap on people who want to use constitution and the whole point of con as they said was more hp and more effective potions not less effective potions
-
@33hp Man I hate that I have a really good immune system and antibiotics make me more sick.. That's not how it works.
-
Please introduce a Skaven race

why did you go for only perception instead of having a wistom stat? was it that accuracy is much stronger of a thing to have compared to other stats?
If you're talking Wisdom in the D&D sense, Perception becomes a better name for it too if you cut off the role-playing side of it
I'm late to the party but I just wanted to add to this. Wisdom in DnD is generally described as "awareness of your surroundings and others" so this is pretty spot on. It being used as "wisdom" is just a consequence that a person who pays close attention to the world around them tends to be wizened. It being used as willpower though has always been controversial since it shares that space with Charisma which is also described as willpower and confidence, but that is another subject.

On the topic of cities. Will the ability to rule over and control certain cities be available and if so would that mean war between race members? Or would cities only develop on Tartarus and Syndeneaia since demons and humans have more need and want for cities while Beastmen are more tribal. If this is the case would raids be available too between cities and towns? Just some thoughts and questions.

@freakybo0
you should read the kickstarter thread!
-
- I haven't read any comments here, so it's absolutely subjective to "Guide" attribute selection for each race
- I've been working on it for, like, 8 hours.
- Unfortunately for you he is in Russian so you have to take a translator
HOW'S THAT FOR ELON MUSK!?
-
tengo demasiadas ganas de jugarlo ya.

First, sorry if it was asked/answered before, but can you change race (e.g. by starting over and resetting to level 0) or choose another character with different race after you have created your character hero? Can you also own and play for different characters with different races in one account?

Yes, you can have multiple characters of multiple races on multiple planets.
