Question about new templates for wiki
-
I have recently made two new templates for wiki. One that shows creatures in the zone and second one that show skills that creatures in the zone have and i would like to know your opinion. Is this enough or you would prefer if those list would be separated to categories. For creatures races and for abilities schools of magic/fighting?
-
As a side point, earlier the wiki was kind of unintuitive to navigate. Whoever added to it recently did a great job. A character creation page which explains the stats and their bonuses would be quite important for new people and easier to follow than this page.
-
Ahh yes some people added too the wiki that makes me feel very happy
-
There should be for sure new templates, because editors should be able to make fast and intuitive entries for new discovered stuff.
would be nice if the templates all will have a base design fitting to each other.
-
Give that man a medal.
-
It's looking good!

Here is one of new templates. I will do second one later. Here is page as it looks now for comparison

put them both into the tabed (frames?) and let the user decide which they want to look out. and it'll consume less space.
you can label them as Creatures then Abilities.

Always nice to see some extra work going into adding to our community! Nicely done!

@Jetah
I have two solutions for those lists being so long. First FlatList, you can see it on creatures. Second one collapsible, i had to make that one because there wasn't this template on wiki. You can see it on creatures abilities. I will leave it up for some time so people can think what would they like more.

I would like to thank everyone who posted their opinion, voted in poll, upvoted my posts or thank me for updating wiki. It's really appreaciated.

more like the warlock races and images on the wowwiki. you have a tab content for races, and another tab for the art work.
the flat works too.
i'd suggest putting more autofill content in there too. so that you can add a new page, add new tags and it'll auto populate those to other pages.
i'd suggest taking a look at the flatlist on the wowwiki page linked above and see how they use the japanese period between items.

@Jetah
How it works is you can add tags in to Creature/Data module and if it matches Places/Data it will show in lists on the pages.
Everyone can add new pages on the wiki so idk what you meant by that. For example if page for some zone doesn't exist(red name) you can just click on it and create it. If you do so i just ask to keep same style which is used on other pages within same category.

@Jetah
I looked on those tabs and tabber is not installed on Fractured wiki so it's not really an option

@Jetah
I looked on those tabs and tabber is not installed on Fractured wiki so it's not really an optionI could get it installed if you think it's really needed. I looked at it originally and decided not to do it since there are some caveats with it:
- doesn't show on mobile
- the default styling isn't great for dark-themed wikis and it would take some significant work on the CSS
- can't have section editing in any section using Tabber

@kellewic
Thank you but it's not needed
