Every third party component of the service is a double edged sword.
On one hand it lifts the team from the need of think about a parte of the whole.
On the other hand it can generate issues that you cannot control at all.
Fingers crossed!

RE: More Bugs
@Vonegram I think if YOU build the smelter, you have the rights on it, no matter which plot you build it into.
Just a guess, but could make sense if the building has its own permission settings. -
RE: Fast Key To Deposit And Withdraw
@GamerSeuss I know QoL is not prioritary in alpha testing, but I don't agree on considering annoying inventory management a "feature" because you want things to take time to do.
Fractured has its core features about what's hard to do and to get, but putting stuff in organized boxes shouldn'b be among those, checking if you already have a stack of that item, drag it on to stack more, it become a time waster without any game value addition, it's not a shared resource to be contested, it's not a time gate on crafting, it's just annoying by itself.
That said, no problem in waiting, of course, but I don't think this QoL should be trivialized anyway in the long run. -
RE: Cannot Deposit Ores In Bank
@Prometheus ah good to know, stockpiles then, which I suppose are public and everyone can retrieve stuff from them, unless you build one in your home plot.

RE: Unlimited Plant Fiber in starter town
@Prometheus plant fiber is not junk! You can make ropes and bandages!

RE: Problem in Craft Menu
Had the same problem yesterday, seems to happen at random, and moving again somewhere makes it work again, so it's hard to reproduce or to find a common factor.

RE: All inventroy gone
@baaldas they might have wiped something, during alpha it's possibile and probable, I suppose.

RE: Deers are "imortal"
@David353 I managed to kill deers with primitive bow and bone arrows, it just takes a little random luck to make them run towards you again before regenerating too much, but yes, that out of combat regeneration is definitely too fast and kicks in too soon after last arrow hit them!

RE: Please please please!
@Denyde swapping mouse buttons for movement and attack should definitely be an option!
Fixes will be made, of course, some movements are not registered or stop randomly, maybe lag involved too.
Server is not that bad actually, maybe it's just a little far from you, and during test phase you don't want to invest too much money on server power anyway. -
Fast Key To Deposit And Withdraw
Something like Alt+Click or Shift+Click or the like, to move stuff fast between two open containers, for example between inventory and bank chest, with stuff going in stack with other stuff already present, instead of dragging every single item and finding the correspondent one in the chest.
It would be a really cool QoL improvement!
(Of course no hurry, bugs and balance issues first!) -
Cannot Deposit Ores In Bank
Not sure if intended or not, I don't seem to be able to deposit my mines ores in the bank chest (starting town).
I remember something about the ability to transfer stuff directly from cart to bank chest without having to pick up single items, but even with picking up I don't understand how to deposit.
So either bank is not intended to be a ore deposit or it's bugged I suppose. -
RE: Starter Town Crafting Table Fail
@PeachMcD dough is crafted from inventory, anywhere, you don't need a table!

RE: Spring Alpha Launch & Spotlight #4
@djbaybokchoy if I had to defend my statements in PvP games I would be always wrong!

RE: Spring Alpha Launch & Spotlight #4
@djbaybokchoy my first guess is that they set the "server clock" to a datetime that has been converted to a unix timestamp before daylight saving.
This way when daylight saving kicks in, the same unique unix timestamp refers to a datetime an hour forward compared to the one you set before.
Just a guess, or maybe it's just further delay, we'll never know... -
RE: Spring Alpha Launch & Spotlight #4
@djbaybokchoy the first hour of delay is probably due to daylight saving that kicked in last weekend, moving timers forward by an hour.
Then next 30 minutes have been probably for finishing touches, server start and patch release.
Then next 10 minutes (now 11) are unknown and misterious, but I'm sure devs are working as hard as they can to deliver as soon as possible!
