What about not being able to unload a wagon without logging?

i think it could be one or two notches further out. But could give unfair advantages. I.E, im zoomed out on a horse so i can see someone mining. He cant see me yet, so i have extra time to 1) wait for him to finish the wagon load and 2) go in to stealth and take it from him.

Now, on Terra, by all means. because it doesnt matter how far you can see

Unless there's a secret team thats been working on Demons for a couple years we are nowhere near close to tartarus. Considering its taken this long and we only have two races (one incomplete) and a myriad of base or core content that still is in development

Granted, there's very little functional difference between Humans and Beasts beyond some minor stat difference. (Primal form need not be mentioned as it is just..wow...bad) So Demons would just be a new skin over the top of Humans and Beasts. Having it be full time PvP should make it a bit easier to develop though.

If we wait for Demons before having a soft or full launch we could still be looking at a year if not more. Release sans Demons and find some lore method to introduce them at some later point.

you only need to make very little primitive stuff before being able to learn and make recipes stuff. and then the prim stuff is totally meaningless to the larger tier.

i.e, I only need to craft two set of leather to learn Ranger. Then Ranger start all over at Poor. Hide is very very easy to gather. Doesn't take long to get those two initial sets cooked . Longer now with being able to cook more at one time, but still.

I submit that Primitive should need to be maxed before a recipe could be learned. Or learn it at Level 2, but not craftable. At which point, Ranger would then start at Green, owing to the expertise (and time gate) in getting that far. Naturally, Metal still gets the shaft because it takes a heckuva lot longer to get to that point,

I didnt do any cloth crafting beyond the minimum require, but the they don't already then the higher tier material need to have some kind of gate as well. Perhaps a sewing station that take say maybe 8 hours to prepare Spider Silk or primal weave.

I like some of the changes made to crafting. Specifically being able to cook more at one time, thus needing fewer stations than before, but at the same time, there's still a lot of work to be done to properly balance everything. Or at least make it "fair"

Here's another random thought. Recipes could be gated as well. Beyond the drop rate. Say..the first Shortbow you find lets you craft Green. The seconds add to it and now you can craft Blue, etc etc. That adds not only a time suck, but incentive and duration to keep hunting. Would really help the economy as well.

Or..tiers of recipes when dropped. Not only does say a Dragon have a better chance to drop Shortbow, but he could drop the highest form of the recipe.

Ever mined for ore? chopped down a tree? hunted for meat or hides? Driven a wagon halfway across the map to deliver said material? All of which takes significantly more time than bending over for literally 1.5 nanoseconds to pick up a frickin rock.

This entire game is mindless repetition. if this one tiny thing is an issue the entirety of the game will be as well.

Where to assign those points is strictly on the player. Put them where you want based on the character your making. Left over points to a gladiator for example could go to CON, or even CHA if planning a commander type. Left over points to CON for any character type is rarely a bad idea.

This isn't an MMO that hold the players hand. Some measure of thought (fore and after) is required.

If finding small stones, which are literally everywhere mind you, is something that flummoxes a player i would think more involved tasks such as building a wagon would render them catatonic

If they are eating rice and beans I would imagine a silly video game is the last thing on their mind.

Bottom line.the only way to play the game is to buy a pack. Whether that action is worth a paltry 25 bucks only the buyer can really answer that

None of that made any sense. Stolen food? what?

Newbies are only stuck with primitive gear until they join a guild and start helping with things like gathering hides for tanning, or metals. If they wanna go it alone, thats on them. They can farm for hours to get enough gold to get the gear they want

Get a group of four (preferably Tank, 2 DPS and a rogue, and you can take anything that can drop recipes early. Anything cr4 and 5 for sure. Someone got a shortbow, probably one of the most sought after, from a termite drone on terra. Or one of the termites anyway.

user Powershell to install it. i just posted the how to in the bug reports. Launcher does not have digital signature

do you know how to use powershell at all? Thats how i installed it

Right click on the start button. Click Windows Powershell (admin) or Terminal Admin on Win11

Navigate to the downloads folder. It should open to your user folder so just type cd downloads and press enter

type FR and press TAB on the kb. It should fill in the rest of the installer name. Press enter and it should install

Not really a donation to the town hall. I mean like has been talked about with the Logs on the various stations. For example the storage bins for wood coal and stone

My Primal Tiger was unable to chase down a single Deer this morning. That's just sad

Suggestions

1. Primal Form should maybe have a specific set of Skills Auto Equipped. I.E, Battle Jump would be a must. Sweep, Lethal Strike just to name a couple. Primal Bear maybe a Charge, a Roar, Intimidate obviously..etc

2. They should be..well. PRIMAL. They actually shrink in comparison to the normal form. Even the Deer looks more Apelink than Deer
