This is a possible and a good solution in my opinion. However, some people like me might want long test periods as we like to play the game for a longer period of time while testing all possible aspects. The main demotivator here is the lack of "continuous" content. Long story short, I have a proposal for future tests that might attract different types of players while providing relatively more "continuous" content. This new magical idea is not my own but from a game called Ashes of Creation(AoC). The system in that game is called "caravan system" and I think, if implemented with slight variations, it would be a very nice addition to Fractured. Here is how it goes: Citizens within cities which have researched a trading tech has the option to create a "city caravan". City caravan is a bigger version of the normal wagon and has the ability to carry both heavy and normal materials in large amounts. City caravan should be either directly rentable by gold or a craftable tool like wagon. (So far this is a system for trading, crafting and maybe mob grinding oriented(PvE) players; but here comes the twist) The city caravan can only be driven by Neutral players. The caravan also has a health pool(like a horse) and when destroyed, all the items inside will be lootable by everyone. I believe this system will attract both PvE and PvP oriented players while providing a continuous content. I also would like to hear your opinions I also encourage Fractured to implement caravan events a la AoC. It generates content for cities, merchants, and criminals. Great suggestion!

Resources REALLY need to be more scarce or have higher demand. I'm personally aiming to be a local merchant, and everything I have gathered, nobody is interested in buying because all resources are too easily available / uncontested. This is probably partly due to low population with it being an Alpha, but if you need food for example, it's literally everywhere, so there is never a need to "stock up". So for new players, or someone wanting to play casually, that's a whole system that isn't worth engaging with. Or if they do try to engage with it, it yields no profit. 100% agreed and I'm glad you've publicly identified yourself as one of those niche local merchants. Meridian will definitely want to do business with you so as to encourage you and other folks like you. Harbours - Personally I am totally against fast travel, as it reduces the immersion of the game and I've seen it damage the open world in many other MMO's. That said, if it's here to stay, then whatever. The only true plus side to this is the "money sink" aspect. And I honestly think it should be extremely expensive to fast travel around the world, as otherwise the value of rare/locational items because eroded. Someone on the very south of the map should have a very very hard time attaining resources from the very north of the map, which in turn increases their value. Over-accessibility = no value or sense of achievement for acquiring it. Long story short - resources across the land need way more value. Again, 100% agreed.       When I played World of Tanks a couple years ago, it had exactly what I see you all arguing for: No alliances Friendly fire Collisions Restricted guild sizes (100) Equal-sized forces The clan wars maps would reset periodically, to give everyone an equal chance of getting on the map Was it the nirvana you describe? Nope. All the best players flocked to a few guilds (clans), who then dominated the best territories, divided it up, stopped fighting each other, and only defended themselves from the lesser guilds who tried to attack. New guilds/players had very little opportunity to play with top-tier players in a clan setting and thus learn how to improve. I was once able to arrange getting one of the professional e-sports players to shotcall a battle for my clan, and the difference was stark, but it was something that simply didn't happen much. Limited battle sizes meant it was impossible to include everyone in my clan who wanted to fight in clan wars, and I continually had to put eager people on the bench, which caused all kinds of drama. Now I'm seeing you all argue for something I already know from experience doesn't work. I don't think you all can truly understand how awesome the zerg meta is for me in Albion, having first experienced World of Tanks! Zergs include everyone, and the lack of alliance limits (and the disabling of friendly fire) mean that the best alliances still want new people, giving those new people a chance to play with very good players and thus learn. I very much want to see that in Fractured.

      @Alexian only reason alts exist is because there are 3 main races, 8 sub-races, angel/demon/litch versions of each sub-race. While i plan to main a demon race, i do plan to have a beast and human just to see the differences of play style and planets.
