Types of weapons

is there a set list of weapons or can you pick up like a thigh bone and use it like a weapon?

You can craft arrows from bones; haven't seen anything else craftable from bones yet. Basic weapons are flint + sticks (with some fiber).

I guess you can kind of say both. So far it seems like you can attack with anything that you can hold in your hands. Random stones, bones etc. are not part of that, but e.g. a hammer to mine stone can be used for attacking as well.

@suchensienach you will be able to craft several weapons and armors using bones, especially with the arrival of Tartaros and the daemons. There will be also bones' items that you will need for alchemy and enchanting.

There is also a chance people will be able to craft other stuff from bones as well, like bone necklaces, etc. as game development progresses.

Looking forward especially to see how alchemy and enchanting work.My favorite all-time alchemy system is from Might & Magic 6, simply because of the scientific-like exploration it offered. If you didn't look up recipes online (and I didn't), you had to use trial and error to figure them out, and track your results to find different combinations to try, which for whatever reason was extremely fun.

Personally I'm hoping for spear throwers of some type, like atlatls.

I want to see spear which can be used like harpoon, so I can pull back fleeing players and animals.

My weapon of choice is Poisoned homing projectiles I have Ignited, Preferably of the Tamed pigeon verity

I'm a simple man. I just want axes and/or heavy cleaving weapons.
Anything beyond that is just extra for me.

I would like to boomerang like the Aborigines, serveria both for hunting when to shoot down enemies, it is versatile and would not weigh as much as a heavy weapon.
