How do people get so many points?

Most points you will get from reading articles, sharing them on FB and twitter, and generally being active in forums. Meaningful discussions and sharing news about the game with your friendly gaming communities.

Did the maths, when you get your account one the first day you can get it to lv 49 50/200 purely off the quests.
From grinding daily quests you can get a max of 150 pts, 100 from newsletter, 50 from post
Taking away the odd chance you win a drawing and no referrals, it will take a minimum of 201 days to get to level 200

@guaca exactly and for this reason there are the drawings.
So you don‘t need to get in Top 100 to get a chance to win a key too.
And for the rewards, well most rewards in higher range are not that special, so you „just“ need to reach Lvl 135 to get the last exclusive item.

Posting really, although I will say getting to a certain tier where a good amount of daily points helps. Making 25 daily points plus the extra 50 from posting is pretty good
obviously winning a weekly draw helps!

I didn't calculate this, but even if your calculations are correct, game is 2 years away, and that's more than triple the time that you need to reach max level.
So all is good.

I'm in the top 100 (in the exclusion zone) out of sheer insistence and stubbornness. I do the disclosure of Fractured times, however, I did not understand that I should check the forum for this work. The result is that I have 83 recruits who gave me only 450 points and I have never even won a weekly drawing. I am completing 20k points just by sharing news and earning daily points of access and posting in the forum.

10 recruits would already get you a minimum of 1000 points ('RECRUIT 10 FRIENDS TO FRACTURED' quest).
