Yeah yeah, that wasn't criticism, just curious as to what they've thought and why doing it that way. I'm interested in the process

@holyavengerone For gameplay reasons I assume. If an ingame eclipse were to last as long as a real life eclipse, the eclipse would be over before the demons had a chance to pack their stuff to go to Syndesia.

Please don't do like other games (Shroud of the Avatar), they had amazing ideas however in the technical implementation phase, they messed everything up. You need a solid technical team.

@uthere I agree with you, though Shroud of the Avatar and similar projects had nice ideas, but they sounded too good to be true (especially with their budget) to begin with. The few stuff we already 'know' seems manageable depending on how much money they can get via crowdfunding/etc.
Btw... @Specter : Are the typos in the economy section of the info homepage already known? (Just found it by accident) - HUNTERS AND SCAVANGERS (correct: scavengers) ... FARMERS AND SHEPERDS (correct: shepherds)

I don't think they are. I'll inform Prometheus about it. Thanks for the report.

2 hours for a day seems kind of short.... so you have one hour of real life time being day time and one hour of real life time being night time. Unless events are quite short..... one hour easily passes irl. Also, I hope the survival mechanics are not too stressed on. Sure, it is fine to have energy, food, rest etc, but most of the time (from my personal experience) when this portion of the game is stressed upon on a MMORPG it usually leads to a pain for the players without much benefit. Yeah, sure it does make things "a bit more realistic", but when the mechanic doesn't affect gameplay to a certain degree, then it is a waste of the player's time.

The worlds sound pretty interesting! The eclipse should be awesome to see, I hope it plays out as well as I imagine!

I seriously hope that they are 'stressed on'. I hate 'optional food', because survival is a massive part of any decent story. As such it can add a lot to a players experience.
