This forum is completely, and utterly unusable
As you will see in the image below. This forum is completely, and utterly unusable.
If this shows the standards, that Dynamight Studios, are setting for this game, i won't take part in it.
Why would it even cross their minds, that this forum was fit for release?!
My eyes have been raped, by this absurd use of Glaucous blue.
I plead that this gets fixed soon, or Fractured, and Dynamight Studios future is in jeopardy.
Here is a look, into the minds at Dynamight Studios.
"What color should the News & Announcements hyperlink be?"
"why not Glaucous blue"
"What color should the Welcome to Fractured hyperlink be?"
"Maybe Glaucous blue will look good"
"What color should the General Discussions hyperlink be?"
"Glaucous blue looks good"
"What color should the Questions & Answers hyperlink be?"
"how about Glaucous blue"
"What color should the Guild Recruitment hyperlink be?"
"what about red?"
"what?! no Glaucous blue!"
"What color should the Off Topic hyperlink be?"
" i'm feeling Glaucous blue"
What few people know is, this is actually an easter egg and a small nod to the first king of the human realm in Fractured, king Jeremiah Glaucom I., Glory To His Name.
It's really refreshing to see a dev team that pays so much attention to clever world-building that doesn't rely just on blocks of text, but instead lets us future players figure out the references and connect the pieces by ourselves. Kudos to you, dev team, and I for one am looking forward to seeing more snippets of the game's rich lore.
I actually kinda like that forum software. Could use some tweaks, for sure. I find it alright.
Seems totally fine to me..
Also for me is a good forum, furthermore I don't see it that way
@Karuro Sorry, I was wrong, I see it in the same way but for me it's okay
Blue is always a good way to go, this is just a different shade. Anyway the forum is easy to understand and usable indeed, maybe it would be great if it was possible to choose between at least two themes; but I understand that is not a priority at the moment.
Yeah, we think it works well for the time being. On a side note, @Zenatsu, please don't necro-thread
This forum is good, i was actually wondering what it is built on.
Ashes forum was unusable. And since when has a colour made something unusable?
Zombie thread! Zombie thread!
Kill it with fire!
I dont see any problems to the forums in this form in comparision to the game yet
later it will surely gets a rework
I can't even tell what is or isn't sarcasm anymore.
Er, wut forum seems fine to me. On a side note what is "necro-threading"
@serenite Necro-threading means bumping a very old and inactive thread. That rule was abolished a while ago though.
@Everyone else: This is a 6 month old thread, and from what I can see it was just a trollpost so don't worry too much about it.
The forum, although it is not great , it is not bad either. They seem to be new to the area of content development.I figure they might went for this color as it is softer too the eyes. As for the forum it self, the first thing I would change is the red button that appears when you write a comment or a post that completely hides the letters behind it. What kind of a stupid thing is that.(( I edited my post as I used more of the forum and my opinion on it changed.))
Not all humor is trolling.
Who is this going to upset or offend? What discussion is it going to derail? Prometheus is presumably the most invested in, and responsible for the forum. If Prommyboy was upset by this I'd be incredibly surprised.
You overusing that word so much triggers me. Pls stop trollzing me u meen cyberbully
@Holya humor doesn't offend me, no. But I've moved this thread to off-topic where humor on "glaucous blue" belongs
Well, now that it's been resurrected we might as well keep this discussion going
Personally I think the forum is simple and minimalist by design; it's sleek and clean and functions for what it's worth.
Changing colors for every hyperlink would be like looking at a freakin' rainbow and I'm not really up for that on a forum anyway.
There, back on track with zombie thread.
