How are y'all getting your foundation level so high? I've done all the easy stuff and am capped at 37 without winning competitions or recruiting friends. Are all y'all higher ups using puppet accounts?

@zidroc because the most people who are in the Leaderboard are there for a long time and got all points from the quests beside the drawings.
Also there was for the first months more daily points, because you got 10 daily points for just being registered. That was removed some months ago.
Also they post daily. Me per example got now 6800 points just for the quest of daily posting.

I'm here from the start. I have only one friend, atm..half the daily posting..always read and share news. Its a snowball, if your Foundation is old enough, cause you will have a passive daily bonus every threshold. A big boost.

@Zidroc you have a great level considering you've only been here for 2 days, lol.
High level people have been here for many months. By logging in each day you get points, the higher level you are you get more points each day. Also you get extra points randomly for being active and helpful in forums.
Also more articles that get published the more points you will have, and promoting Fractured on other websites and in social networks can get you extra points.

And if you are asking if you can have max level on day 1, the answer is no, you can not.

Exactly, when i joined the forum, the leaderboard was with people in this level range and it took much more time to get to level 37.
So be happy @Zidroc, it is way easier now to grab your rewards.

As everyone else has mentioned just logging in and doing a daily post will get you 50 points. There is a thread for daily posts in the off topic section of the forum if there isn't anything that you have to comment about on that day. I use it just to make sure I get a post for the day because sometimes I get to post early and sometimes late. I've missed a few days by posting after or before the cutoff time.
https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/274/daily-message-posting/13057At 200 points for a level just doing the daily post will get you a level every 4 days. That gets a boost when News comes out if you read it from the email and share it on Facebook and Twitter.
I've been around a couple of months now and with only 1 friend at level 0 and I've managed lvl 63.
To me what is better than getting to the top of the leader board or getting to x level is that I've been able to comment and ask questions on the areas of the game that are most important to me. Foundation points and level rewards are more a bonus to being heard during the development.

People usually who are active and joined from later times get more of the benefits from the leaderboard specific stuff. I've joined 5 months ago, but I have stuff in life, that really got in the way of me participating in fractured. Ergo why I'm stuck around the same level as you. Since you joined like 2 days ago, you're doing way better than I am!

Been here a year, didn't get very involved the first month or two but once I did I never missed a day. Kept up with the community never missed a thing, won several of the weekly drawings.

Sock puppet accounts MUST come into it, for some at least. And as I flag in this thread - https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/4892/bit-worried-where-the-kickstarter-is/35 - I think the upshot of that is that it's given us a disjointed feel for how big the community genuinely is. Kickstarter still hasn't found 400 people willing to back it, yet this community is heaps bigger... in theory.

it could be that people did their starting quest and are letting the daily points level them. or they didn't see anything here to keep them interested and have moved on. There are some that might check monthly or quarterly for progress. Seeing 31k accounts is similar to how games claim 31 million account but they never list that only 1m are active.
We've heard that some people don't have access to a credit card which KS requires. KS is owned by amazon and you can't even use the amazon balance. I believe DS thought they'd reach their 100k the first day because of their '31k accounts' but didn't account for who's active right now. Talk is cheap but when it comes to placing cash down people remember how they've been bent over from other developers via crowdfunding. They also see other KS campaigns that are still in development but KS was tagged as a 2 year development time before release.
Validation on a game is when you ask for money, not forum accounts or even forum participation. I will say that the Foundation system is the best engagement I've seen from a developer and I expect to see others copy it. Normally I'm on Reddit but here I'm on the forums because it's active.

I'm level 76 and have been here for 2 months I think. I've done the quests, try to post on the forums daily, and have recruited a few people that signed up and then haven't looked at it since.
You'll get there.

I've been here before the "daily posting" thread was even created. Heck, I've found the game before there was a foundation level. I'm currently level 146 in the foundation and I didn't even do the FB/twitter crap. Daily log and daily post really stacks over time.
