I think AoC is going for more of a high fantasy than Chronicles of elyria. CoE devs said that only certain people will have magic and that its going to be random and since I like playing a mage that kind of throws me off a bit... ALSO CoE has been going for a scope creep since the KS, they should have released the game this year but they just keep adding more and more stuff and that has me mad as well. for example the whole subject matter expert program, what is the point of it other than being completely extra? I'd rather they deliver what they promised... Legends of Aria seems interesting IF they can deliver all the things they promised on their site including the whole living world idea... but from the little amount of time I spent on game it looks pretty static (as far as I can see). they also switched from shards to legends of aria and I'm not sure how much of the idea on their website they still kept from shards and how much of it they have decided to drop... $40 for an Indie sandbox with very little actual detail is a bit much for me... none of the gameplay videos I've seen show me anything groundbreaking in terms of mechanics... let me know if you think otherwise!

im Backer at camelot unchained, Beta 1 will come soon
with Beta access i had access for testing some maps last mounths and now last days they are near beta1 one and we have access for stress tests its only a question of days as devs said. they still only nead a stable version ^^^I only need a new pc with 15 fps sucks a bit ^^

Because I am looking forward to a similiar game to Fractured (at least how I imagine it).
Everyone who loved Ultima Online, probably already knows following:
"Legends of Aria", specifically Legends of Ultima!!A fansbased community is allowed to transform the Ultima Online Universe into the game "Legends of Aria" (kind of a mod). There is closed beta for "Legends of Aria" right now and it is supposed to be open beta in August and in fall 2018 early-access on Steam, at least what I have read about.

Had dinner with Caspian and his family and a few other future players the other day. He loves the game so much that I can’t imagine him giving up on it, no matter how long it takes.

It's not his love and dedication that people worry about. Most unfortunately, everybody needs to pay for a living and if funds for the project run dry (you can not 'milk' a community forever), there's little alternative. That's why I wish they would start to put a foot down and seriously focus on nothing else but work on pushing out VoxElyria / Kingdoms of Elyria. That would convince a few more people to contribute on the project financially and thus drastically increase the chance for the game to exist.

First and foremost Chronicles of Elyria. Haven't been excited for a game that much since I first heard of LotRO many many years ago. I'm also a bit intrigued by Mavericks.
