How many players will get invite to the pre-alpha tests?

As Finland said, we can't give you an exact estimate of how many players we will get in the pre-alpha (so "more than 100 and less than 1000 is a good answer eheh).
As for the level you need, the answer is more complex than that. Players with top ranking will get in for sure, but other factors such as high community engagement will be considered as well even if you're not in the top XXX of The Foundation :slight_smile:

I HOPE you're going to be there in order to at least provide a minimal balance for the 'PvE only folks', even though I think they already won and PvP is going to be a 'secondary thought/aspect' in Fractured. That said, the Kickstarter is going to massively shake up the ranking, so, depending on your purse/what you're willing to spend, you still have a decent chance.

@logain I don't think so, restrictions on Arboreus were needed to allow safe play also. Anyway I usually test spell and combat during alpha and beta tests. And spell/build balancig. Dunno what you are gonna test

As i understood the magnificent "top" is the top 100 players in the fundation ranking?
For now im in, cant wait till fall this year

Its okay, nothing really happened. I believe that something helpful to off top will happen, but as we know there may be 200-900 people for pre alpha

I don't know if I'm going to (be allowed to) test anything, since the vision of the game is more and more drifting towards a casual Diaboloesque 'relaxed, mindless mass PvE slaughter with minimal player interaction' instead of what was originally hinted at, which means I won't invest much in the Kickstarter, which means it's likely I'm going to drop out of the Leaderboard
