Packaging Stations

Horrible design. Packaging stations should remain open and on the correct tab when transferring goods to the wagon. It is tedious to have to re-open the station window, click on a tab and then drag yet another sack over tot he wagon. Once may be bearable, but we are talking 80+ here. That's just not feasible in any sort of way.
They need fixing extremely badly.

I agree they should at least keep the tab open between the station and they wagon so you can drag and drop a little faster. I know they are going for a few extra clicks as part of the Fractured experience, but these extras truly are needless...I say this after packing and then moving 24 bags of Rice this morning

I remember ditto'ing @Kralith's posting on this, last test. It's unnecessarily & unrealistically tedious (when tedium is realistic I accept it just fine, honest!)
While we're talking about packaging stations... seems like city officials ought to be able to place a processing station near their fertile grounds, but we don't seem to be able to put one outside of our city limits. That's bizarre. Is it a bug?

@PeachMcD i don't think it is a bug, but intended. Since the system changed, the Fertile Grounds in residental areas aren't city space anymore, but still related to town. You can't place anything there. Not even better roads

I believe i have a potential solution to this!! Make it so, depending what side of the packaging station you click on, you either open up the crafting interface, or auto-loot a random food pack inside the packaging station.

100% agree. Loading the packs one by one into the wagon is tedious, but fine as part of the Fractured experience.
But having to click through 3 different UI "steps" before picking up 1 pack is ridiculous.
