Probably because the test has not started yet 2 hours from now it begins

they put it up a 30 minute delay on launch today server should be up in minute

try messaging one of the devs to help you out i get in game on character screen and just states not available yet sorry for the delay will keep trying and let you know when im on hopefully soon

The game has some issues related with Windows 7. Don't worry, we are working on it.
We recommend everyone to upgrade to Windows 10 since Microsoft is ending support for Windows 7 soon and the OS will no longer be secure and officially supported by many apps (including Fractured).

Well, since I have Windows 7 and can't upgrade any time soon, I'll just wait for the patch so I can play in the Alpha 2 test I paid for

I got wins 7.
first launcher crashes.
then unityclient@windows.exe error
so yup game is unplayable at the moment.

@Dariusacmar @DevilsDog maybe you're not aware, but it's possible to download the Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft, install it and use it even if not activated without any time limit I know of. A few minor functionalities won't be available and sometimes it will remind you to activate it, but otherwise it works fine

@LilCassiopeia What??? I didn't say problems with the game. I said problems with Windows 10. I've purposefully avoided upgrading to Windows 10 for this long because it's got so many cross platform/program conflicts as to make it irritating. If as prometheus said that downloading the unregistered version will make a few minor functionalities not available....that could potentially turn it into a nightmare...maybe not for the sake of the game...but lets face it, almost no one has a computer and OS for just the sake of a game.

lol, Devs are working on a fix my butt...the whole Test will be over with, two months will have passed and then you won't have to worry about it because you'll just say you couldn't find a fix in time...and I'll have been screwed. Well...at least you taught me my lesson...don't support you guys with any more money.

@Dariusacmar seriously? You blame the studio, because your system is too old and is soon stoped to get support by Microsoft?
You blame a small Game Studio because you do not want to upgrade your system?
You blame them 9 days after your test, when they tried to make the client running on Windows 7 some days ago?Instead to blame them, i would suggest to help them.
It is a part of Alpha, that there are problems with the Client, the Server, the Platform, the implementations and so on.
It can be possible, that people can't play because of problems while this phase of developement. There is nothing to blame about it.
Everyone of us has to expect that such things can happen.
