What type of game is this?
-
Is this an action mmo like Destiny or more like Guilds Wars. Both appeal to me but i dont know if i want another game that will use large amounts of my time.

Fractured is (or seems to be) centered around the idea of horizontal progression. You won't level up, or get much stronger, instead, you gain diversity. With that in mind, and the fact that you gain knowledge/unlock new abilities by fighting different creatures (but a low amount of time) and exploring, each fight has to be more meaningful then the usual 'grind them by the thousands'.
Does that help you in some way?

I think you will need to invest time exploring the world in order to obtain resources and it demands time.
-
It's more like Path of Exile if it was an MMO (without the crazy skills and much slower paced).

@Gonzomike if you want to know a bit more about the game, read in the News all the Spotlights.
Also there is a famous thread about anything we know, here you will get much answers too.
But many answers are open although, because we are not even in Alpha, to tell about how the game really will be.
But it is isometric as you know by Diablo 3 or PoE.
Beside this you can't really tell with what game it is most comparable.
We will get an open world, an MMO, PVE and PVP focussed without pressing people into a special playstyle. Also it will be a kind of sandbox, where you are able to build Settlements and Towns.
I would more compare it with Ultima Online than with Diablo like games.

@Gonzomike
isometric like PoE and Diablo (series). it's the dungeon crawler style but an MMO.

I hope that don't become another "Auto Play" mmo.

@Ti What you mean with "auto-play"?
