RE: Funding
I would agree it's why one of their best decisions was to remove the NDA on Fractured. It allows the conversations to occur. It allows Streams, and theory crafting, and frankly once they're here it's about proper community engagement. All things that seem to be heading in the right direction. I continue to be impressed with the premise and design. I look forward to the next phase of testing.
I think one of the best things about this company so far, is how much it engages us all in the discord and on the forums, they really show a passion towards the player base, and once more people see streams and become interested, and see what a good dev team they have, a lot of people will stick
I think one thing that would make the forums better is a Dev Tracker box that highlights questions from discord and replys from the forum, really drawing attention to the Teams passion, towards the players and the game

Ok, I don't think this is a healthy way to handle consumables. They should be affordable to everyone.
Special consumables slots vs taking a spot in the skillbar; cooldown for each consumable vs a potion toxicity meter. It's all the same to me as long as they not spamable as in hack'n'slash games and everyone can afford them.
i like the idea of a toxicity meter, Dunno if DS will have much control over price , if its all player driven unless they do what BDO does and have a range of prices things can sell for and depending on the demand depends on the pricing of the item

If the balance is forced by game mechanics then yeah.
(There should be no "balance" in a game, there should be only what players make of it, and if players play in the way so it becomes balanced, then fine, if players play differently, then they deserve to get whatever they got by their play style and their choices.)
If some player plays better then he deserves to be ahead of other player. If some group organizes better and puts in more effort, then they deserve to own another group that didn't do that.
If a group makes an effort to promote their political agenda and attracts more players to them, then they deserve to be able to do things with more players then another group that sounded "boring" and attracted lesser amount of players.
Any developer interference that annuls an effort of an individual or a group by giving (undeserved) power to another individual or group to "force the balance" would just make the game lame.

you need to put yourself in the average players shoes.
financial success largely depends on the size and fidelity of your audience.
if only a small group of players in a large group are having fun playing and everyone else is ganked every one else cant progress because this Strong Dedicated group is better then the average player/ most the server the average player will leave the game

From what I understand, you don't get full drops from mobs and if you do it's very rare. However, each mob has a list of possible drops, among which, as @Gothix said, there's a bunch of materials. So, you need to kill a certain kind of mob to craft a specific weapon.
PS: if they want to implement full drops from mobs and keep the item generation crafting-only, they could make something similar to Albion's black market: players sell items to the a NPC (the black market) and when you kill a npc and are supposed to get a full drop you get one from black market's inventory (it is a bit more complex, but I explained the general idea).
I think humanoid monsters should drop weapons such as gnolls and goblins and bandits, but wolfs and other monsters who dont use weapons should not, maybe we could use monster teeth as arrow heads and bones as spears or swords but we should need to craft them

And conjuring for items and objects like flying swords and thingsSummoners and necromancers are NOT the same thing and have NEVER been the same thing in any game... Necromancer summons are usually restricted to corpses and reanimation while Summoners usually summon elemental or in some cases beasts... additionally conjuring flying swords MAY be considered part of the summon class but if it's only summoning inanimate objects then the class can't be considered a complete summoner class...
There are no classes in this game just groups of spells in schools so you wanna be a summoner you may have to grab spells from different schools such as necromancy and conjuring.
NOT sure who YOU are ARGUING with or if you are telling me this information in capitals because I have offended you?
Hopefully i have helped you understand how character builds work a little better

Constitution primary stat for warfare abilitys, and increases crafting produce

Market deployment as well as ways to keep things accessible to newer players will be important for the longevity of the game. Coin sinks are important, but finding the balance is needed.

We know there's some sort of coin, or barter item exists because Governors of towns set a tax rate as described in Towns, Governors & Politics (one of the previous spotlights)taxes can be raw resources tho. depending on the UI it could be anything; weapons, armor, food, water, etc. (i'm sure it'll be gold tho, it'll be boring.)

Long range tougher assassin
Strength 18
Dexterity 18
Perception 18Strength to have highest dmg , also gives max martial arts skills combined with the dexterity
Dexterity and perception give max assassin and archer skills
Using the martial arts skills to bring in that extra toughness
The warfare bard
Strength 18
Constitution 18
Charisma 18This is the maxed out basic warrior but bard uses charisma stat, so I can nick some spells and be effective aoe music as the warrior jumps in buffing debuffing causing havoc
Maxed out mage
18Int
18perception/constitution
18charismaDepending on how powerful Divination is, I'll max it out, but if not constitution will be my way forward, summoner necromancer healer, this mage can do it all (apart from divine possibly)
I like hp helps avoiding death when being ganked, but I get your point

10 years isn't 'a few', it's a decade. a 'few years' would be 5-7.
If 10 years ago you started putting 10 quid a month away you would have 1200 now wich would get you a ace laptop ... it's why I started a savings just for pc parts in the future, when star citizen comes out I'll buy a new rig lmao see how much I make :]

Back to the topic, other than the knowledge system, the talent tree is not implemented yet. That could also bring harvesting bonuses.
