Go people! Throw your money at them. We need that fishing and animal taming!
@daz said in Are you a PVP or PVE player?:
pvp player that is going to kill the pve players
That's why I hope for permadeath for PKers.
@logain still better then only one of us getting it
@Prometheus said in Why will the control be based on a mouse?:
No target lock, no auto-follow. All spells and attacks are skill-shots It's up to you to time your movements and the cooldowns of your spells - the limited number of spells you can carry with you at the same time, that is.
Then I really fail to see how mouse movement will be superior to WASD movement. Maybe I'm not good enough but I cannot use that 22.5 degrees more precise movement in combat.
I'd like to talk about punishment for PK. In open world PvP there will be a lot of that.
What sort of punishments you'd like to see in game? Should there be any? Should demons be treated differently?
I'd love to see perma death for most serious repeat offenders but that's probably not gonna roll in online game.
Gratz to all that got in in first wave.

The servers will obviously be down when a new build gets pushed, and maybe when the devs are out of office.
And when @Kralith spills coffee on servers

The cloth she's wearing is not the issue, the metal around her belly is. Either wear real metal/plate armor, or not at all. Just wearing it 'cosmetically' around the belly is stupid for any warrior to go into battle Again... a first perception issue.
Isn't the blindfold a bigger issue?
@lohen said in PK punishment:
isnt the penalty of losing your equipment enough?
Not really. Bandits grouping to rob a merchant will probably take cheap equipment with them. They risk is low while merchant risk is high. So there I want devs to add some risk involved with PK for the PKers
@basileus even if that's true what Unity did with changing TOS is a very bad move and it looks bad for the future as well. Some people not using SpatialOS and not connected to Improbable were affected.
If Unity only suspended Improbable and did not change TOS then I would be on their side. But this looks like messing with users just to get more money from Improbable.
Remember that SpatialOS started before Fractured started - so it's over a year ago. And they never hide what they're doing. Then suddenly Unity wakes up and says no?
The message from Unity is basically this: if you're doing something that we don't like we will change TOS to block you even if at first we agreed.
@lomacil you can just combine that 500 spheres into 1 mesh and get 1 drawcall.
@finland what I meant was it was already answered some play solo because of work related reasons, some just like solo or have troubles socializing but still like to compete against others. I'm sure there are other reasons as well. I just want all of us to have as much fun as possible
We'll see what the aftermath for Unity will be.
Unfortunately I cannot remember where but devs mentioned that there will be no race limited armors. If I'll ever find it I'll link it
I'm very happy it's progressing smoothly and waiting patiently for next open test or beta 2
The knowledge system wasn't intuitive but it was interesting.
What was really missing for me was description in skills about armor limitations.
@jetah Unity is quite friendly with camera rotation Adding it isn't all that hard.... of course till unforeseen stuff happens

i'm pretty worried about that "old Kickstarter packs" option on the survey. That's something i'd much prefer to see never come back. make a new version, decrease the value then release it.
I thought there should be "Please don't do that" option for each of them To let them see how many players are against certain options.
@Kralith said in February 2020 Playtest Survey:
@Eurav Yes, was thinking same
But i guess it was well thought through, since you just will write down stuff, if you are not entirely okay with the way the features actually presenting themself.
If you think the way is okay how some things are developed, you don't need to write anything. And you still have 2 ratings to difference between "Yeah, exactly how i wanted it" (aka Great) or "it's okay, lets see how it gets developed" (aka Good).
For great i'll agree but for good - that means it wasn't great for some reason so we could possible write "it would be GREAT if...."
