RE: How will work the repair system?
@Razvan said in How will work the repair system?:
To my understanding, we won't be able to repair items.
Yep, this is the current plan. The devs want to try it without a repair system.

@Ostaff
The devs said in the past that demons won't be able to unlock some abilities (because some areas in Arboreus are restricted to them) and we need resources for all 3 planets for high end gear. This pretty much explains that mats and abilities are not the same across planets. That's no longer the case. The demons will be able to obtain those abilities elsewhere.

RE: Developer forums?
@vortech No there isn't, and I don't believe there's are any plans to implement such feature.

@jetah If your city is tied to a guild, you can rule it as a dictator.

RE: Garbage game for Garbage humans.
@Mindframe It's due to the horizontal progression. Every planet has different resources with different strengths and weaknesses. It's akin to Guild Wars, different stats but no straight upgrades besides basic gear and crafted gear. In most PvP games the best gear is often found in the areas with the most hardcore PvP ruleset, but in Fractured it's possible to craft the best gear on all 3 planets, including the PvE planet without ever having to visit a PvP planet. Of course it's possible the best gear for your build is only made with resources from a different planet, but luckily it'll be possible to trade between planets.
So yeah, in a sense it's seperate but equal.
Btw, the PvE planet will also have extra PvE content to make up for the lack of PvP content there, so there should be no shortage of content for the PvE player.

RE: Kickstarter Is Over! What's Next?
@logain I'll look into it. The devs should be back by now so hopefully they'll give an update soon.

RE: Aesthetics of the game.
@EXCIDIVM Correct, it won't be possible to rotate the camera.
As for the textures, they've been making improvements to them in every test. In the fall alpha they added grass, in this alpha they've made some changes to make the biomes more distinct, and so on.

RE: Game controls
@Ikonosaurus Fractured's controls are very much like those of Diablo 3, PoE, etc. Click-to-move, not WSAD.

RE: Weekly Drawings - Be Active & Win Foundation Points!
@frilliking Largely yes. There are some areas where PvP can happen but a large amount of Arboreus is PvE-only. In those non-safe areas PvP will still be rare though because the environment on Arboreus is very hostile to evil players.

@Iamhamilton said in Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010 (CVAA) (US):
that's not how forums normally work, but if that's how things are done around, here, fair enough
It keeps the thread organised and it looks better. It would get quite messy if everyone started multiposting.

@wolfkomodo46 I've informed Prometheus about it.

RE: Cant log in
@Kiemas The fact that the server couldn't handle the load today is exactly why stress tests happen. This stress test has brought new issues to light so in a way, it was actually a success.
I know it sucks for the players, but frankly anyone who has been part of a stress test before knows these things happen. The weekend isn't over yet, so don't give up hope just yet.
