Shiva, but we also got hermit plots. Those should also have some purposes. I think that the focus of these alphas was the guild content, because that appeals to most people, but solo content will come eventually.

RE: Your goals
My main goal is to help the guild I'm in progress as much as possible. This will potentially open end game content for me and the people I play with, which would not be possible by playing solo or in a very small group of gankers.

RE: Winter Alpha Spotlight - Criminal System
@Ostaff said in Winter Alpha Spotlight - Criminal System:
Is it possible to injure good players indirectly who are not in your "good" party when you have "PvP" mode turned on or does friendly fire only affect players in your own party?
If it doesn't affect everyone then you break the party in PVP and completely negate the FF. This doesn't seem right. It should injure all good players with PVP on.
Also, from what you said... just attacking a player changes your karma, then executing them changes it even more, and then if you loot them you change it more... so its all accumulative? however, the most change still only applies to the person who "executes" the player. Which means there will be an escape goat in each party who handles all the "executing" and looting and then distributing the loot afterwards.
This is an excellent point.
In my opinion, it shouldn't matter who executes, but if they contributed to the killing. A more fair idea is to split the karma equally between everyone who participated in the killing, either by doing damage, CC or healing/buffing one of the aggressors.
All in all, I'm happy with this and the bounty hunter system is way better than I imagined. Just one tiny thing: can jails have limited spaces and the jailed people visually appear in jail even if they are offline?

RE: Will Steam Early Access available ?
Albion has the exact same system (b2p, premium accounts, microtransactions) and it is on Steam. I don't why Fractured can't do the same. Steam takes a % of your sales, but they also open your product to a bigger market.
PS: Albion is f2p now, but it used to be b2p.

RE: Prometheus, did y'all disable mouse click emulation?
@Gothix
Hmm, wait what? Was it ever possible to move with WASD? I thought the thread was about locking LMB so you can move without having the mouse button pressed all the time. -
RE: Prometheus, did y'all disable mouse click emulation?
@Gothix
Well, I don't think adding a button that simulates pressing LMB/RMB interferes with that at all. I have a fairly cheap mouse that can set MB4/5 to do a variety of actions, including what OP wants. -
RE: Week 149 - Weekly Drawing Winners

RE: Hiting stag's while they eat prevent them from running
Offtopic, but to be fair, I probably wouldn't run either if I'd be attacked while enjoying some pizza. So, as far as I'm concerned, what those deer do is reasonable enough.
