It was said do not try to shoot rock monster with your arrows (immunities, weaknesses), but if archer can not use his arrows, what is he supposed to do? Use magic? Cool, but archer buffed up his DEX on player creation not his INT, so if there are no magical arrows based on DEX archer will be disadvantaged.

This is actually one of my biggest concerns. If I am a DEX/PER archer, and I face a rock monster that's practically immune to arrows, what am I going to do? I don't have the strength to start pummeling it with hammers and I don't have the int to start shooting it with whatever spell works well against a rock monster. Am I just screwed?
You're not an archer. You're a high-DEX/PER character who has decided to play as an archer. Hold a DEX-based melee weapon, take a resting phase, pick the proper set of abilities (assuming you know them, of course) and talents, and you're ready for the dungeon
Otherwise, if you really want to play ranged and kill that stone mob, yeah, ways to enchant your arrows exist - several, in fact. Unless you've made a character with 6-8 INT, you should be able to use them decently.
Now, if the creatures you're fighting are completely immune from physical damage (some exist, and vice-versa as well) and you've made a character with 6 INT then the situation is more complex. Having a friend would be the best thing, but there are workarounds. Get +2 INT from talents. Use abilities that summon magical weapons (even low INT is enough for those). Use weapons crafted with materials that make them deal some magical damage. In a way or the other you can make it!

I really don't like how guild locking system works, heavily restricting who can join your guild. Demons seem specially disadvantaged in this aspect.
"Demons cannot conquer and/or control cities on Syndesia." -- Also demons seem disadvantaged here.
From what I see so far, if one wants to play evil, it's a lot better got go human, drop your karma and be evil, then play as demon. You get a lot more freedom like that.
Yes, you do have more freedom playing as an Evil Human since you can settle both on Syndesia and Tartaros, but you're missing out on a lot of stuff, namely:

Arboreus and Tartaros are very specific outliers for players who really don't like PvP and for players who want a really unforgiving PvP environment. Syndesia appears to be the broadest and most fleshed out planet, with intricate guild politics, the full spectrum of alignments, etc.

@Jetah @Benseine Fractured is a sandbox but one with a strong lore and racial characterization, which comes with several unique design choices. That being said, as I've also mentioned in the streaming, perhaps these restrictions will change or will go away as a whole. Alpha will tell!

So the procedural map generation in the gameplay video looked pretty clean, but I would like to ask if every sector/section/biome of the map will be seperated by a river with a bridge to every other biome or will it at some point be more blended in where, for example: you're in a mountain biome and while roaming in one direction you start seeing less rocks and more grass, pretty soon you're in a grassland biome or something instead of seeing a somewhat unnatural river and knowning theres a new biome behind it.
What you are suggesting is actually how usually things work - biomes blend gradually without any "hard" boundary. You can see that in the video when we move from the Mountain Forest to the Goblin Territory!

Aside from major events, maps won't change over time. The passing of time and seasons can be seen in vegetation, animals, decaying of buildings, and so on. That being said, the Asteroids system will be a constant source of new maps and procedural generation will be very useful there
Our aim is to have one single large server, hosted in NA. If latency is an issue for EU users, we can start an EU server too any time. As for Asia / Oceania, that's not an option SpatialOS gives for now, but you never know...

Can you 'define' friendly fire? Normally, the term would indicate that if a third person gets in the line of fire between you and the target, the ray/projectile/hit no longer hits the target, but that third person. How could you do that in a game with free targeting (you can freeze a river, so you need to be able to aim at said river...), while keeping your 'only consensual PvP - mantra'? If I can aim anywhere and deal damage to anything in that line (friendly fire), I could easily kill a Beastman as Beastman?
It means exactly that, but as I've said, you can avoid it by grouping with your friends. If you have a Good alignment, you also can't hurt other players with Good / Neutral alignment - this includes friendly fire. Since Beastmen are Good, they can't hurt each other. It was mentioned in this spotlight :slight_smile:
@Zefireq @Eletze animations and the UI are really temporary, as I've mentioned elsewhere. They will be both remade from scratch :slight_smile: There will be a minimap, too. Same goes for several particle effects. Don't focus too much on the graphics department, it's a pre-alpha!
