The Ability to rotate the camera in a sandbox game is essentiell.
At least i see it this way, because you need to see what you do!
Also for exploring is it really good if there where a possibility to rotate to watch out the area.
Also for Roleplay... whats more boring to sit in a Tavern and drinking your beer and you just look straight forward whole Roleplaytime, nooo way for a good and interactive Roleplaying.

RE: Google Auto Translator❓❗
Well true, ingame it could help the player to do at least a minimum of communication with each other, that is more than the usual thx, t4t or gl.

RE: Translation
I think the developer should implement a kind of xml file related language system for all used UI related texts.
Then the community could translate them and share them for their countrymen. If not possible to change them over the own client settings, then maybe start a translation project platform, where the community can help to translate the client content and after a community related review it could be inserted into the client by developers itself.

RE: Alles was das(mein) Frauenherz begehrt ;-)
RE: Player bounty boards (PVP)
Oh damn, i like the idea of bountybords.
But there should be dependencies, to prevent that some people see it as a big fun to set random people on the board.Dependencies could be a special count of people need to vote for a bounty or some previous crime actions lead to an entry to the bountyboard.
No clue how the developement could setup this. -
RE: Google Auto Translator❓❗
I figured, if you use autotranslate, you never learn the language.
I started 3 years ago to play multinational and in english, before that i just learned it in school long time ago and never used it for communication with other people. I was just reading IT related texts.
When i started to communicate in english, i was terrible to understand and i mostly don't got what other wanted from me.
But a bit training, a bit google, a bit driving around the point and it worked well after a while.
My conclusion is, that an automatic translator don't make our communication better. -
RE: Fractured Sprint 13/15 Recap (Feb 05, 2018)
Damn, i can't wait the next video!!!
Whats about this
"Procedural generation of road;
Procedural generation of rivers;"
Will they are variable, changing? Or how we have to understand it?
Would be cool, if roads orientate on how often people walk them -
RE: Mute user function
@jetah Hehe, yes that was my point too, somehow i was overseeing this. But now there is wonderful silence and the new post list shows just the interesting threads

RE: Rollenspieler???
@traumsucher Nicht überall, aber bei den interssanten Dingen
RP online muss nicht in die Hose gehen, kommt halt immer auf die Art des RP an und ganz wichtig auf die Leute, mit denen man sich ungibt.

RE: Discord
Be patient, for now is the forum the better platform to inform, sort ideas, discuss and so on.
A chat is nice, but at the moment there is not that much to chat about. I'm sure that will change, when the game starts into the Alpha. -
RE: Mute user function
i would more like that people stop to create a single Hello-Thread just for the first steps in the foundation quests.
It's very difficult to track the important threads and discussions with all the new one single entry posts every day. Maybe there should be an extra dependency to the first own thread reward @Prometheus ? Like the rules for the weekly win. A single "Hello" Thread to get a reward is very annoying for all serious forum reader. -
RE: Consumable Currency
I like the consumable currency in PoE.
And i think it would very good fitting into the scene of Fractured. But it can just get balanced if every planet produce equal valuable Currency. I can imagine that corn, jewels or ore could be the most valueable ones.
Corn to poduce high valued food, Ore to craft high valuable Armour, Jewels for enchanting.
This System can be widened very much and it can scale with future updates. -

That leaderboard is no joke, 33k+, I don't think I'm going to make it anywhere near the top. I'm not a big forum delver like I used to be.
The Top ones are in there because they was the first ones, they collected more points before change of daily points. It's not that hard to get into the leaderboard if you use all possibilities of the foundation quests. Especially inviting friends who are quite active will give you a nice boost. Sadly, my are not that active i wished

RE: What's your favorite End-Game?
@finland said in What's your favorite End-Game?:
@kralith that's a view for common MMORPG not for sandbox ;). You start and it's "end game", but the end game you want does not exixts ;). Prolly the hardest thing in a sendbox fullloot is survive/fight the top pvp guilds (that's the most hard core thing you can do). No lore/ no quests/ no raids. All at the same level from the start. It's just.. do what you want. But prolly you want a game that tells you what to do. Like follow this quest. Do this dungeon to get this. Join this battle to win this and so on. In a sandbox you are free to play the way you like. So gathering for years. Crafting for years. Fighting guilds for years. Killing players for years. There are no fixed objectives. You are the one to find them. A sandbox is a "never ending game" so is kinda hard to find the end game ;).
I guess you got me wrong and right
Maybe i did not explained myself in a good way, i struggle sometimes with my english. But thats exact i wanted to say, a sandboxgame has no "endgame" because the "endgame" is the game itself. And it's true, i search something like this.
I played MMORPGs and sandboxes, and i figured, that the sandbox kind of game is the one i like most. I'm setting much hopes in Fractured, that i'm able to play what and how i want, that the game don't press me in a predefined path. -
RE: What's your favorite End-Game?
Yes i know
That was the cause for the ""It just means, i like to have some starting content, to get a tutorial, some leading into the lore and then just play without some capping thing where it's called "now you can play the hard stuff". The game should be the endgame like "the path is the goal". Means, i want a game that has no "end game".
I know its difficult to explain, because if you play a while you want to reach something, but that just should be the game itself. -

@finland said in What's your favorite End-Game?:
For me is having something non annoying and repetitive to do PvE side mostly, exploring, events, arenas, battlegrounds but for this game I would add the construction of the city of guild and siege.
This and an endgame that not feel like usual endgame phases.
Means you need to get so much to do, that you don't feel to repeat things again and again.
Possibilities should be PVE content, PVP, Hard tasks where you have to work on long time, Challenges, Archievements, Exploring, Gathering, Bestlists of many kind (lists of different sucess in all available gamecontent).
For me is a good endgame, when the "game" starts up after reaching "max level".
